    I don't know you Ty personally, but I know that God uses you to minister to me. Please continue to let the Lord use you. For over 20 years your ministry has ministered to me and my family. Thank God for you all!!!

    Thank you for this wonderful message. This is the scientific reason for memorizing scripture. Philippians 2:5; Joshua 1:8; Hebrew 4:12; To become like Jesus we need to eat His flesh and drink His blood. John 6:53-63
    "None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict" (Great Controversy, p. 593).
    “My brethren and sisters, old and young, when you have an hour of leisure, open the Bible and store the mind with its precious truths. When engaged in labor, guard the mind, keep it stayed upon God, talk less, and meditate more.” {Pr 156.3}
    "The Bible, the Bible alone, LAID UP IN THE HEART and blessed by the Spirit of God, can make man right and keep him right." 1888 194.1

    Now, neuroscientists have discovered that the human heart (literal blood pump) actually does contain neurones (what the brain consists mainly of). So when the human authors of the scriptures used the word "heart" to refer to what are actually cognitive functions (making decisions, holding love, imagining, etc) they were closer to the actuality than we ever realized. This is a point made in a talk by the brain guru, Arlene Taylor.

      And also well articulated in The Heartmath Solution, by Doc Childre.

      Interesting info. Thank you!Look up "heart" in Hebrew. The “heart” commonly refers to the mind as the center of thinking and reason (Pro 3:3) but also includes the emotions (Pro 15:15,30), the will (Pro 14:14), affections,and thus, the whole inner being.
