This album is absolutely fantastic from start to finish, and this song is definitely a favorite. Personally I feel classic Sonata Arctica all over this and it's phenomenal.

This definitely is a lot like early Sonata Arctica, one of my first ever metal bands I discovered back in the day (along Stratovarius). A welcome discovery indeed!

When I first heard this band I was just looking for some nice melodic metal, but when I heard their song Broken Dreams my jaw actually dropped, I was amazed at what I was hearing. I love you guys I hope you're all successful.
I am going to try my best here, because I am speechless. First, been a huge fan of Georg and Serenity since the band started, and I'm glad to see him once again being a centrepiece in this band. Second, the slightly shifting time signatures, the vocal handoffs, the harmonies, this is EXACTLY what the power metal genre has been begging for. Thirdly, I hadn't heard of Marco or Temperance prior to finding this band, and he is, without a doubt, one of the most gifted vocalists in metal today, and that's saying a lot beside juggernauts like Tony Kakko, Roy Khan, Georg Neuhauser (:P). I am beyond happy with this track and I cannot wait until the album drops (which is on my birthday, believe it or not). P.S. Love that this band was named after a Serenity album. This is good solid Power Metal. Definitely not trying to reinvent the wheel. Early 2000 Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius completely destroy this band. Based on creativity, originality, vocal and musical ability. That being said my own personal opinion. This is good tight pro band.
Haha how Power Metal is this?? If you're a Power Metal purist, this will totally float your boat - it's how Power Metal should sound, and done very well by musicians who clearly love the subgenre. This does of course mean that there's not a shred of originality, but if you know what you like, that won't bother you. There's one big HOWEVER. I love a coda, but I don't like being preached at, however worthy the cause. A message should be coded subtly or blatantly in the song lyrics - but to put it as a microsermon in the coda is in my opinion counterproductive. Even a good message needs to be in the right place, and this wasn't it. All that said, it's still worthy of your Power Metal playlist. My Score: Good 3*
