Ritchie was the Lead Guitar player (mostly electric) in the UK based Rock/Metal/
progressive band Deep Purple in the 1970s. He left in c 1976 and formed his own group "Rainbow". Now a much older and I guess mellower man- he formed Blackmore's Night.!

I can see you like celt music or this is what I think. I´m from Galicia and we have a lot of celt traditions as music, instruments and art, for example in the video I could see a "queimada" a traditional drink made it to get out the witches, called "meigas" or "bruxas" here.

Paw niepiękny ciskał mi się na myśl o robieniu w naszym kraju czegokolwiek, bo lepsi zarżną za rogiem za...robienie co się umie. Bo oni też. Emigrowałem z przygodami znajdując w razie konieczności możliwości finansowe dosłownie przez pocztę rejestrowane. Przygody przygodami lecz gdzie są stypendyści zachodnich uczelni? Ano gdzie ich miejsce-w banku z procentami. Jest lepiej, mentalność się zmienia. Pamiętam czasy radosnej demokracji ekonomicznej za panowania Lecha Wałęsy. Czas ku jemu podobnym.

I personally prefer this band over Deep Purple. Dont take it wrong, I do enjoy Deep Purple also, but if stacked against each other, I would choose Blackmore's Night over Deep Purple

I love this song. The way it transports my imagination to another place is delicious. My only complaint is the very unnecessary guitar solo, which only serves to yank me from that place and back to reality. I wish I could find a version without that.
