Your great grand baby is a darling! Thank you for showing the sweet picture of you and her. And. Thank you so much for showing us the many ways to finish our rounds! I loved the travel case, too. Adorable. You are so talented, Judy! Have a great time at your retreat. 💝🌷
Hi Judy...love the sweet picture of you and your great grandchild...the dress is beautiful...thank you for sharing your joy in all that you design...safe travels...blessings and best wishes❤❤
Judy, You never cease to amaze me with your time, talent, graciousness, kindness, and love of our craft. I hope you have a wonderful time at StitchCon and safe travels! xoxoxo
Hi Judy! I can’t wait to see you at StitchCon and chat with you again! I want to make a sewing box, but somehow can’t seem to dis-assemble it to make it pretty! I will have to try again after watching you and also Sherrie’s video with Tanya. Your granddaughter is so beautiful and that christening gown is gorgeous! What a special family heirloom! I just loved your rounds finished on the box or jar lids! you have given me a good idea for an smalls exchange. I’ve bought many of the round wood items (snowflake, JOY stand, and the small wreath wooden pieces! Every time you say Hobby Lobby I want to run right there! Thank you for the tips on finishing the rounds! Safe travels to Sharonville, and see you soon!
The brass hand is fun. I like them. your sewing box is beautiful. You are an amazing and talented lady. Happy stitching. Thank you for sharing your knownledge with us.
Thank you so much for showing my finish of Bluebirds of Happiness! I loved stitching it and enjoy seeing it every day. To answer your questions...i stitched one of the small bird motifs from the design and made a covered button with it. The frame came from Hobby Lobby! It was a 13x19 inch frame and my husband cut it down to 13x14. I'm hoping I will be able to use the same style frame for your new cardinal design. Thanks again for mentioning my finish!
She is BEAUTIFUL !! What an absolute treasure she must be to you and your family, and the dress is beautiful. What a treasured family heirloom. Lots of useful tips for finishing rounds. Thank you
Wonderful video full of inspirations. Loved your peonies in the background. The picture of you and your great grandaughter was precious. Love all your round finishing ideas. Glad I am close enough to Hobby Lobby even though I’m in 🇨🇦
Your finishing help for rounds is timely. I should finish stitching A-Round France today. It is for my daughter’s 40th birthday which is the 8th. She is a college professor of French. It will be finished as a paper weight in a glass round I found at Hobby House a few weeks ago. I will share a picture when complete. I still have to fully finish my Sewing in the Round I did last summer. I’m thinking of using a glass jar that could then hold spools or buttons. Enjoy Stitch Con.
Thank you for sharing so many behind the scenes tips and background of your beautiful creations! Your style is so elegant and inspiring! your Great Granddaughter is beautiful!
Another great reason to use comic boards is that they are acid free (and I am hoping that some of my finished will be kept for a long time). Thanks for the tutorial. I love your round designs! Safe travels and have fun at StitchCon!
Judy, This was a wonderful video. Your jewelry/stitchy box is a treasure and very inspiring. I loved all of the eye candy seeing your finishes and ideas for round designs. I was so happy to hear you say that you spray painted the paper mache boxes. I have several rounds that I have wanted to mount on boxes but didn't know if I could paint the HL boxes. Can't afford the shaker boxes that are so lovely. Your finishing idea will help me get several items fully finished. Thank you so much. Best, K
Another lovely video! Thanks for the great tips for creating round finishes. I have several of your “Rounds” that need to be fully finished and I’m better at procrastinating than actually doing the work. I think assembly line finishing would be less stressful and more efficient… so maybe I’ll stitch a few more first lol. Shelly
Judy, thanks a million for telling us the name of the cording maker. I've been asking around for the name of that tool. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Hi Judy! You amaze me with your stitching all the time! A couple of years ago I bought your bluebirds of happiness from keepsakes stitching in Ohio. Well I just pulled it out a little while ago to start it and realized I am having a hard time seeing the pattern because the print is not very good. I hate to complain but I wondered if you might have any answer about that. I was going buy your cardinal piece and dedicate that to my mom but I thought I would wait till bluebird is done. I hope you can help me with this. Thankyou so much. Susan Chavanne
So appreciate your well organized content, the tempo of your videos, and all the super useful tips and finishing inspiration. With the comic board…is there a brand you prefer? And can these boards be used to mount a piece to be used on a frame that has a shallow rabbet? I find using foam board a challenge in these situations as it is thick and the piece doesn’t lie flush at the back! Would using comic board be a work around?
Dear Helen, there isn’t really a brand that I use, but have been happy with my purchase, whether it is here in town or on Amazon. It might be a bit thin for using in a frame, but I am going to try to remember to ask our viewers in the next video.
@@jbwdesignscrossstitch4750 Thank you Judy! It’s a pity that some of the small “prettier “ frames are really only designed to accommodate a piece of paper….never mind foam board and linen. I usually have to ditch the cardboard backing that comes with the frame and affix a brown paper sheet to cover my pinned board or settle for a super simple frame. If anyone has other work arounds eg comic board that would be amazing.
I'm going to check out that Good News right now!
Thank you Glee!
I always enjoy watching your flosstubes. Thanks for showing ways to finish and also great ideas.

Actually they are not in Canada but living right across the river from Detroit it’s easy to go there.
