I stopped buying from Gurgaon. Delhi is expensive but taste is great. Unimaginable difference between black and white, J&B rear, Red label, black label, William Lawsoms etc. No comparison in the taste between delhi and Gurgaon

Bro I have compared side by side- J&B from Delhi and Gurgaon, both taste different.. the one from Gurgaon is more watery, while the one from Delhi gives subttle high in just 4 pegs. For more information see the comparison on Kanwar Anands video, he did a comparison of black lable yesterday..

Lot of talk and information, but the final test is the taste. You should have tried 2 bottles, i.e. JW DB, one from Delhi and the other from Gurgaon, of the same liquor, tasted both and then given your opinion. With so much of discussion on this topic, everyone can't be wrong. Thank you.

Please note that IMFL mein mixing ho skti hai however, imported liquor mein bilkul bhi nhi hai...I am a caterer providing liquor to various events across NCR and I have not received even 1 complaint majorly because I buy it from TLW, GTown & the reputed kinds.
Hello brother I am 38 years old and I was born in gurgaon.. meine dekha hai gurgaon wali sharaab mein milawat hoti hai.. so pls dn’t tell us ki kis wajah se liquor ka taste different hota hai.. meine duty free sharab li hai meine canteen se sharab li hai aur gurgaon ke theke aur L 1 se bhe sharab li hai.. you know gurgaon ki sharab hamesha nakli nikli hai.. aur yeh baat new customer’s ko nahi pata.. gurgaon ki sharab is totally fake… remember my words..

True. Difference in taste is due to place of bottling. Indian whiskies bottled in Haryana taste differently than Delhi.
That's why they should've used the bottles which are bottled in foreign for the testing. Like single malts above 3k price range.
IMFL are the ones bottled in India. (Teacher's, Black Dog, 100 pipers, etc.)
It shouldn't be. The process of bottling is standardized. At most ±1% margin of error is acceptable.
If the taste is different in bottling places. Why do they named the same brand? They should be sold in different brand names.

I dnt knw i bought glenmorangie black label and Glenfiddich 12 it was fine but yes if u pick red label balllentines, rockford so on u might get fake i dnt knw i just bough good one and it was great
I drink neat and i buy from Delhi,GGN AND Chandigarh…GGN quality is very poor..even 2 bottles dont taste same…scotch,bourbon..everything taste different..this is really pathetic..even after paying 2-3K u r not sure about quality..currently im drinking William lawson and JF from Ggn..quality is really very cheap
Thank you so much sir for this informative video. I have one doubt - why do they sell scotch/single malt without the outer cardboard box, they just sell the glass bottle? This makes me little suspicious whereas in all other states liquor outlets sell along with outer box only.

Gurgaon wine shops mein bikne wala maal bhi milawati hai, brother. My friend got a bottle of Teacher's HLC and it tasted like anything but Teacher's. Jab Maharashtra ke sample se side by side compare kiya tab zameen aasman ka fark tha.
One more reason for price difference is excise duty. In Maharastra, excise duty on liquor is upto 300%. Hence one bottle of black label or Chivas regal 12 years costs Rs. 4000 and Indri is Rs. 5600.

Kuch bottles fake nikalti hai, kuch sahi, par kismat hai pata nahi chalta kon se fake nikalegi, kon si real. I purchased 1 liter teacher international pack, pehle 3 bottles asli thi, uske baad uska taste hi change ho gaya, next three bottles were fake.

I have been buying L-1 liquor in Gurgaon since 2012. There were only TWO L-1 stores then and Lake Forest was the go-to store. There is NO fake alcohol in Gurgaon. The host makes a valid case.

This is all BS giving reasons to justify.. I'll tell you Time for Wine liquor store in gurgaon sell all fake liquor. Milawat ho Rahi hai and they are using spirit specially that's why the taste differs. Any liquor you buy from range of 1000 to 2000 the tase is heavy on spirit mixing. Yes in some stores like dicovery or gtown sell good stuff, but again less amount of spirit is used. You should bring bottle from Delhi and gurgaon same brand an do the taste test.
