Why are most of these old gameshows recorded from Challenge TV not from the original ITV broadcast?. Did noone have a video recorder back then?. Even Challenge TV rarely show any old school programmes these days. Instead of 80s and 90s classic gameshows like Family Fortunes with Les Dennis (the presenter most people will remember that gameshow for more than any other, even though Dennis wasn't the original presenter of the show; you think of Family Fortunes and you immediately think Les Dennis), yet now it's all repeats of the Chase from about 5 years ago or Pointless from 2 years ago, hardly old, occasionally they show the odd Bullseye or Wheel of Fortune ep, but that's it. The fact that people have fond memories of the gameshows from the 80s and 90s shows they were better than the crap we have now. There's a certain warmth and charm about them.
