I would look forward to seeing some DLC from the acceleracer series like movie inspired tracks or something. I know cars will be in it but it would be cool to see tracks from the movies.
i made a 14 mins video. Uploading. I messed around with it, but felt the system and controls a bit rigid. There's a lot there to play around with but you need to buy stuff to unlock and use in that mode. Need to grind a lot for that
Weird question but can progress be made offline and can car's be unlocked offline without internet? Crash team racing locked alot behind a connection and you couldn't unlock anything at all in onrush without a connection.

some are super easy and some are hard. All based on handling stats on them, as well as apparent weight. Heavier cars are easier to turn with while lighter cars slide to the side a lot.
@@laynehekter7947 Yes you are 100% correct but I don't want the scale of the cars to hinder the experience. I am just hoping for a fast arcade racer. Either way, I m excited for the release.
not sure it doesn't say. I did run it in 4K resolution setting on the PS5 and it was stable 60FPS. It even had HDR options in game to change luminoisty
If anyone interested in this game prefers racing in 1st person POV they are going to be disappointed. I preordered the $89 edition... I was really looking forward to this game (outstanding new games have been kinda rare these last few months). I was absolutely floored when I realized that I could not change the POV in this game. It's freaking 2021... Arcade racer or not... !st person POV should be a must have option in a racing game. I wondered why a 1st person POV gameplay footage was never shown. I just thought that the devs really wanted to show off the cars. I thought there was no way in hell that a racing game would not offer a 1st person POV. I was wrong. This decision blows my mind in so many ways. 1st person POV is not just a preference for me, it's a must. 3rd person has never felt right with me. It's the reason I could dominate Need for Speed, Forza, Grand Turismo and absolutely blow chunks when playing Mario Kart. I am an avid car enthusiast... 1st person just feels natural. I tried to get used to the forced POV in Unleashed, but I knew after the tutorial that I could not do it. Unless this stupid decision of the devs is changed, I will not be playing Hot Wheels Unleashed. I did not last 15min into the game before I uninstalled it and asked for the refund... If you enjoy 3rd person driving mechanics then you will probably love this game... Good for you. The graphics were awesome, the UI was easy and fluid, driving seemed to be good (really couldn't tell cause the view really threw things off for me). Overall the game seems like a winner, but no 1st person POV kills it for me. I do know others who prefer the 1st person POV and I know that there are a lot of gamers I don't know that prefer it as well. If an only 3rd person POV keeps them away or not is another story. I know that me feeling like this seems like an over reaction... Try asking someone that prefers inverted controls to play a game that doesn't have the option to invert things and you will get the same response. I am not mad. I am extremely disappointed and confused. Why did a 1st person POV not make it into the game. Is it laziness? I know that coding is difficult and switching from a 1st person to 3rd person POV in shooters is not a simple thing to get right (Cyberpunk 2077)... Is it just as difficult to in a racing game? Really... I am just confused when trying to decide why 1st person POV would be an issue in this game.
Its Hot Wheels, these type of games don't have first person just like Crash, Mario Kart, Team Sonic Racing, Sega all stars racing. These arcade/kart racer type games never have first person view
I figured it would kinda be like TrackMania. TrackMania has an in depth track builder and is also an arcade style racing game. I'm more disappointed than anything.

Is it just me or does the base racing speed feel slow? Maybe it's cause I'm just watching a video but I was hoping for really fast gameplay.
Remember these are scale cars not full size these cars are actually really moving for their size
