- 14 years old Raju Panchal is watching television when his mother gets a call instructing her to send Raju to collect his father, Sanjay Panchal's car keys. A little later, Raju's father Sanjay Panchal receives a call for a ransom of Rs 20 lakhs for the safe return of his son. Right from the beginning it appears to be an insider's job as the kidnapper is well equipped with Panchal's personal information including the liquid availability of Rs 20 lakhs (the ransom amount) that Sanjay has kept at home for his business purpose. Who has kidnapped Raju? Will the police be able to get back Raju safely?

That gaze, that quirky smile, that persistent stare which unnerves. It is difficult to understand the intentions but the hints are there.In a house a husband and wife argue, fight. A vessel comes flying, a glass breaks. Husband is angry and the wife is upset. That hatred, that ego. The distance that keeps growing. It is difficult to comprehend the damage, but the cracks are there.Feelings... expressions. Misunderstood, unresolved callings of the heart. The cracks are there. Too wide to be missed. Yet when the heart takes over the mind, the outcome is a mindless tragedy.Crime Patrol- Dastak will attempt to look at the signs, the signals that are always there before these mindless crimes are committed. Instincts/Feelings/Signals that so often tell us that not everything is normal. May be, that signal/feeling/instinct is just not enough to believe it could result in a crime. Unfortunately after the crime is committed, those same signals come haunting.

There was absolutely no need for the two crooks to kill the poor boy!! He had anyway not seen his nephew during the kidnapping while the friend could easily have laid low for sometime. If the boy had been safely sent back to his family, the kidnapping case may not have been pursued to that extent anyway! How utterly foolish!! In most murder cases like this which I see, NEVER is the killing ever really justified - or even necessary at all!!
