  • Its time to witness another remarkable time of a student's life here at IIT Bombay.
Freshers Intro Video - by AEA for Aerospace freshies was recorded during the Freshie Night, and now the wait is over because it is being launched.
The freshies definitely gave some awesome answers, to our random questions. Filled with loads of funny(and some cringe) content, I'm sure we will not let you leave without a smile on your face.

One word and that's DREAM ❤
Dream to be in this video, to be able to say the same thing as one of them said "Package wagerah ka chakkar nhi hai, ISRO jaana hai bas"
Feeling scared to leave such comments because I don't know how will I face these in future if The biggest nightmare of a JEE aspirant comes true for me as I am gonna get my JEE mains result today and I know I am not in the position to even qualify for advanced and that's holding me back from having such high dreams even though I have the April attempt and JEE advanced ahead of me. I don't know where will I be if not in IIT, I settled for aerospace because there isn't mechatronics or robotics courses in indian colleges and no scope either, these branches were the reason I wanted to pursue engineering and not CS but if I'll have to take admission in private colleges then taking non CS branches will be a dumb choice, I am so doomed at this moment that I really have to gather the strength to even hit post for this comment. I can take a drop and want to try one last time but this self doubt is not letting me. I have no friggin idea where I'll stand in the next 4-5 years. I am only posting this as I really wanted to let it out of mind as it was eating me up.
Let's Go Seniors, if I am the most luckiest person in this world then we'll surely meet someday and I will wait for that day to come. ❤

@@thereel8807 Kiddo you have your whole preparation ahead of you. Remember that once it's gone, it's gone forever. I am not talking only for colleges, I am talking about building your knowledge because it's necessary. Go and search how aeroplanes and rockets are made and how they work, all this will make you realise that the things you're studying now has a greater use in future so don't ruin it. Don't just study for the sake of IIT JEE, study with curiosity, teachers are not gonna do that for you, they need their students to qualify exams and nothing else so whenever you get time, try to connect how what you're studying can be useful while building a robot or a spacecraft and things like that. This will help you in the long run and you won't burn out with the fake stress people put on us.

@@rosemaryandthyme4444 That's so sweet of you kiddo! Thank you so much little buddy. And yeah about the advices part, you must have seen hundreds of strategy videos, topper's interviews, journey videos and all, I am sure. Now what you should do is that, since you're studying offline, strictly stop seeing any JEE related videos that's not a lesson, when I say strictly it means don't ever ever go back to those ever again. Since you're a child, you might not see it or not believe it but kiddo all of them, they don't give two shits about your well being, all they need is views and money that they get from those views, and what they're telling may not be for the bad but it definitely doesn't do any good to any aspirant, journey videos that are like "cracked in 2 months or 1 year or 6 months or 4 months", it's all bullshit, what they do is they provide you the delusion that even if you don't study now you'll be fine but that's far from truth, you know like those terms and conditions that's written in very fine letters in everything, it also applies here, you'll realise later on that what they told you was only half truth, you'll feel so stupid that you believed that in future. You already know what you need to do, be consistent like try to not leave your classes as much as you can, when you come back home make a target of how much questions you're gonna do like 90 around in a day and complete the target everyday as practicing problems gives you more clarity on the theory part, complete your homework everyday, and if you ever feel like your teacher didn't teach you enough and you need to study it online then first solve some problems of that chapter even include the most basic ones and don't worry if you can't solve half of them even because you'll get an idea of that chapter which will help you in analysing what the teacher may have missed and what do you need to focus on while studying it again online. Next see kiddo don't miss tests, I know how hard it is to actually face a setback in the form of test's results but rather than viewing it like that, take it one mark at a time like suppose you have a test of 3 chapters next week and you have only prepared 1 of them or even not that then first try to complete one chapter, solve problems, complete the loop holes of theory and sit for the test, from 300 or 360 the worst you can get is a 4 after preparing if you don't do any negative markings right? Take it as a win because you have enough time to make it grow exponentially to get full marks okay? Like suppose you score 4 in this test, 8 in next one, 10 in next, 15, 18, 25, 40, 49, 55, 57,88, 104, 140, 145, 180, 181, 182, 180, 175, 160, 120, 121, 145, 167, 177, 189, 200.......... 300. You can't jump from 0 to 300 with a snap of fingers, you'll need to climb through the ladder one by one, you'll fall, you'll trip but don't ever stop because that'll mark your end and once you have stopped it means you don't have the energy to go further, to Excel, but that's not true because you have come this far and the journey ahead is nothing in front of that.
And the most important thing is that take AN EXAM like AN EXAM, don't make it as if it's your whole world. The knowledge can be treated like one but the test of that knowledge is nothing but that. See if you really work for it, you're gonna get the college you want okay so you don't need to stress too much about it. How the coaching industry portray it to be, it's nothing like that, it's so simple because you already know what to do but the thing is a lot of people lack self control to actually implement all that but it's definitely not anything to sacrifice your happiness, health and life for. Study for 12-14 hours a day and in the meantime, spend time with your family, friends, play whatever you like, any hobby anything. You don't need to spend all of your days and nights in this. Manage your time and try to incorporate your happiness in your schedule because excluding it will lead to quick burnout.
Last but definitely not the least, don't look at the competition, 15 lakhs students and all, so what? Can they stop you from getting 280 in mains? No! If you don't study enough you won't get it anyway. Can they stop you from getting 50% marks in advanced? No! You will stop yourself if you don't prepare well. And if you manage to improve yourself, the competition will be able to do no harm. Just do your part and you'll be inevitable. Keep pushing, keep learning, stay happy everyday. And don't take your academics as a burden rather make it fun for yourself by doing a bit research on topics that interest you.
All the very best kiddo, hope to see you at the top! And feel free to ask any more doubts you have. Also stay away from mentoring groups and channels or any group of telegram, they start being bad influence without our knowledge!
