Raag Khammaj Bhatiyar is a rare and complex raga of Hindustani classical music. It combines the features of two different ragas: Khammaj and Bhatiyar. Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, a renowned vocalist of the Kirana Gharana, sang this raga with great skill and finesse. He used both the shuddha and komal nishads to create a rich and varied melody. He also sang some beautiful taans and bol-taans to enhance the expression and rhythm of the raga. His rendition of Khammaj Bhatiyar was full of emotion and creativity.
