New England Plumber here- looks great so far except for the PVC bushing- supposed to be a reducing coupling.. I know, I know, doesn’t make sense, but the UPC only allows the bushings on vertical dry venting. Not sure about your area ( Massachusetts?).
Good story. Nice presentation. Find myself watching your show. I guess I'm a fan. Not that you need it cause you show that your skilled but i pray for your success in business and channel. From Chicago. Journeyman Plumber as well.
@@berderk2796 thanks for the reply bro I appreciate it. I was wondering because my house is actually really old and has cast iron drains which are still in tact. One of the drains got replaced and converted to PVC because we remodeled the bathroom but personally I would’ve liked to see cast be put back in
@dantemariscal8679 dwv pvc works fine too, honestly man plastics like pvc and abs work best for residential properties because of their smoother inner walls compared to cast. Lighter, cheaper and easier to replace, when making connections from cast to pvc be sure to clean the surface of both pipes you're making a connection to and use a Cast Iron x PVC/ABS/PLASTIC transition coupling so you get no leaks. good luck on your future repairs 💪
@@berderk2796 👍🏼🤝🏽 thx man I’m not tripping about it because they used a fernco connection which I know for sure is to go from cast iron to pvc but they also laid mortar where it’s seated in so I’m not worried at all especially if it’s a drain that has no pressure to it. Btw I noticed you like berserk and I’m a huge fan too
The plumbing is nice. However as a concrete guy I'm worried about the long sections on concrete patched now. The house is going to shift in unexpected ways.
How about those waterproofing companies that bring the water into the house and trench around the entire basement floor? Isn't the basement floor seperate from the foundation? That floor doesn't look too thick.
Injector, ejector...whatever. That sewage basin is made by Liberty Pumps. Comes with the new 1/2 hp pump and piggyback float switch all in one package if memory serves me correctly.
I fixed jacked up plumbing for an added basement shower that was originally a half bath and fixed mold issue, added under slab drain, and roughed in another sink drain and vent for a possible basement kitchen. Neighbor seen it and was amazed and said “why don’t you do this for a living?”. I said hell no. That’s too much work.
Nothing infuriates me more than the old .....you don't need it for code.....sure you don't need a 4inch heat run but it makes a huge difference when the heat comes on.....same goes for plumbing and the shit and grease leaving your home.....don't pretend like people aren't pouring grease....4" is always better.
Learn how to do it learn how not to do it . I know exactly what you mean I had an apprentice and I told him what to do I said we have to get out of here quickly . He responded that's completely opposite of how you taught me and I said I taught you the right way now I'm showing you how to get the hell off this job quickly and still be acceptable
Im in the electricians union on Boston and feel similar to how you do about the work . Its pretty disgusting how you are essentiqlly forced to start a business because of financial constraints. It's awful how much money it takes to live here
If you want to say thousands of dollars and your drain nipple is right at the floor, use a rear discharge toilet you don’t have to do all the unnecessary crap that you’re doing but then again you can’t rip off customers by doing it the right way
You do a great job explaining how life really works keep up the hard work and the video's 👍
I have never seen someone that works as fast as you do. Three minute underground. Well done. Enjoy your videos
Haha nice joke
I cant wait for one of my clients to tell me “i saw someone on TH-cam do it, it took him 3 minutes”😂
I think he’s the FLASH of plumbing.
Nice man. One special way I like to flex is putting all the letters in direction of flow, even for the vents. Keep up the good work
Good tip. Never thought of that 👍
God damn that’s pretty easy underground even with the top out part for the kitchen with the 3 in dead space. ❤love your videos man
Thx for your honesty. You answered lot of Qs my son had wether to go in plumbing in not. Hope you can crate more Videos.
Nice and clean
Good job

I was looking forward to seeing how you did the discharge and vent. You did everything else the exact way that i do it in goergia
You do really nice work brother!! 👍
Clean work 💪

Your a bad ass sir nice work
"theres always a plan". I like you, my guy.
Good show bruh , tell miss monsta we miss her .
how did you do the vent?
Doesn't have to be a wet vent to roll it up, as long as the centerline of individual vent is above centerline of trunk line
Would it be possible to dig a room out in the center of my crawl space to use as a utility room for washer and dryer?
Everyone needs us.
Wow I thought that no one used primer and glue ,I have used 2 in 1 since 2011 which is a blue monster brand.
I was wrong,good job anyway .
fully honest of plumbing world
Azul bonjour good year
Horizontal wet vents here in Michigan have to be horizontally and independently connected. No wye rolling here.
Once you go flat it’s a vent only
Hey, I did some plumbing yesterday I have the same exact level other than that we have nothing in common skill wise😂😂
Clean instal
im not sure where you work out of but were not allowed to went vent off of toilet vent on horizontals ... only on verticals like on a low heel for say
Some great advice. I think it’s misunderstood how much you need to know before you throw a name on the family Buick and head out.
no foam wrap?
Just a question. Can drain pipe still be made out cast iron and is it recommended?
You can use cast iron but for residential you'd want something cheaper like ABS, older buildings or commercial and industrial typically use cast

What brand injector pit is that?

Horizontal wet vent ... wouldn't pass inspection in here California...
Even with the plastic pipe it’s still hard work, this generation wants to invent money out of thin air like bitcoin
Bitcoin is the best sorry. Hopefully you have some
@@ArtOfTheWeldXRP is but i get your drift about Crypto!!!😂
People always piss n shit 😂
And when in doubt, dump ac drain on it
Is that a wet vent

Where is the vent for the toilet handyman? You are venting the toilet with a wet vent?

FAKE
Nobody can do this much work in 3 minutes. This video is definitely sped up. Nice try bud.

Nobody cares
