Awesome ride tour on 66. It was neat seeing that old gas station and fire engine. The old brick road portion of 66 was really neat too. Shew I can’t imagine putting all those bricks down on that stretch of road during that time.

Yeah, the "tour" that was offered scared me a little bit! Loved the Blues Brothers too growing up! Even dressed like them with a friend for Halloween one year. The signs along Memory Lane are really cool...there were even some of the Burma Shave signs along there. Thank you so much!! 💚

That is super cool! When I was a little kid, my dad had a second job driving a tow truck and I had a little set of overalls that matched his and he would take me along on the tow jobs and I would get to drink a Coca-Cola from the old Coca-Cola cooler. Great memories! 💜🤗🥰

I've always liked the drive in theaters....we have one in our area that has remained open for years. During the pandemic, churches held services there and some schools even held their graduation ceremonies there. We were in Altoona, PA, last week where they make mallow cups and we were very good...we did not stop at the candy outlet or I would have bought way too many Clark bars (the mallow cup company bought the recipe and they make them in Altoona, PA now).

Well, what we didn't show was that volunteer telling us the prison is haunted and then he shared a few stories with us...he had a large prison skeleton key and he invited us to go inside with him...we went in to the "lobby" but couldn't stay for the whole tour...maybe we will go back?? We toured a "haunted" state hospital in West Virginia a few years ago that was pretty creepy!

Well, it opened at 11 AM and were were there well before that. We will have to go back when it is open and actually eat there. I did change!!! Right into Wonder Woman or Miss Purple Power...one of the two!😂💜🦸

Can someone, anYbodY, explain to me, the appeal of touring a Prison?? I can see, like a lobbY or common area, with a display of all the prisoner " Discomforts " , so to speak. But the tour?? Well, what we didn't show was that volunteer telling us the prison is haunted and then he shared a few stories with us...he had a large prison skeleton key and he invited us to go inside with him...we went in to the "lobby" but couldn't stay for the whole tour...maybe we will go back?? We toured a "haunted" state hospital in West Virginia a few years ago that was pretty creepy!
