Herling's wins a race with a broken foot. Carmichael wins races with a torn ACL. Blake Baggett finishes an entire outdoor season taping his hand to his handlebar because of a broken thumb. Meanwhile football players get pulled off every other play. Soccer players complain if they have a sore calf. Basketball players quit if they 'hurt their shoulder'...
Don’t forget Travis Pastrana broken thumb that he had all wrapped up and that didn’t stop him.
Action sports athletes are vastly different than mainstream sports athletes! There's been some tough dudes out there though in all sports. Jack Youngblood played a NFL game with a broken fibula in his leg!!!

There's alot less on the line if one guy gets hurt in a football or basketball game...
Liam Everts speaks very good English, ( like most other European countries),he has a lot to live up to in Harry and Stefan. Remember kid, keep those feet on the pegs in the turns! Stefan was a master at grip in the corners this way. Good luck son, you’re going to need it ! 🏁✊🏽💨

looks as though he doesn't really want to do it be there ,just doing it because that's whats expected is his destiny... by his family
pressure from his family to be the best is too much especially for such a young person.
The answer could be in the coming years if he does actually enjoy racing and that's what he whats to do is split and do his own thing with a different team without his family looking over his shoulder.
Too early to say that. Yes, I'm sure the pressure is immense for the kid, but his father sounded flexible and willing to back off. It really could go either way.

Seeing these guys work hard gives me motivation to work harder as well. It is crazy how much effort goes into this sport.

You're wrong I think. Because father and grandpa don't say to Liam "YOU MUST RIDE and you must be in motocross." If he doesn't want ride by himself - any kind of support can help him.

Maybe they do push him a hard at times but you are going to pushed and a lot will be expected of you when your father is a multi time MXGP champion, plain and simple. Liam is not your child or my child and we have no right to tell someone how to raise there kids. Come back with a counter argument when you can form complete sentences please.

He does...I think Jett is going to go far in American MX/SX, his brother has already been super competitive in the 250 class. He's just a bit inconsistent. I know we'd love to see Liam join the brothers here in the States to race the outdoors and sx. I'm sure he'll probably stay in Europe to race the GP's tho...
He went over to new zealand to train with ben townley for a time period. I suspect he'll of picked his accent up from living over there

Why did the politicians close the tracks?
I don't know the real reason but nowadays with all the laws about air pollution and sound complaining of the people around noisy areas, this could be the reason. In the Netherlands they lowered the maximum speed from 130km/h to 100km/h because of the number of dust particles. Because of European laws, this is also why there are no more 2stroke races and only 4 stroke races. but hey, maybe in a few years when only electric is allowed, maybe they can open new tracks again O_o
