This is great, that takes me back January I was transferring my bby to a very good school in Juja after passing the interview and going to class the bby cried cz I was leaving, then the teacher said, "sipendi watoto wa kulialia" and immediately after that I had to look for another school and she's happy
I also in the same juja I was going to register my kids to a new school a neighbor had recommended when I moved to a new estate, nikakuta katoto ka pp1 being beaten my a merciless teacher kwa corridor because the baby rushed to the toilet without the teachers permission (and the teacher was not in class) So I wondered whether she wanted the baby to pee on himself as he waits for her to come back and grant permission. Hapo na hapo I made a U-turn.
My baby is refusing to go to school since the 2nd term started, today we took her to school na kwa gate when she saw her class teacher she started to cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭.....I left her behind crying but , she doesn't know how to talk .

Awesome Tr. Cilah...some of us hated certain core subjects in school coz of the kind of teachers that we encountered........Imagine Mathematics Tr coming to class with a whip every math lesson with a stern mongoose look,do u expect the learner to love that Tr. and the subject??
Teaching is not a career. It is more of skill based and character. I was poor in social studies, science from class 6. At class 7 other two teachers took over and it was a game changer for the whole class. Trust me we could receive beatings like other teachers did before though, a good number of my classmates including me gradually made progress from 30% to 88% performance. The two teachers could go to the levels of teaching us (old science, buying gifts for performance, engaged us to buying JESMA EXAMINATION PAPERS for assessment, did practical science). One teacher taught science & the other social studies and Kiswahili. Any subject the science teacher taught , performance was recognized at regional levels. His classes were always vibrant. Be it CRE,LANGUAGES, SCIENCE,MATH. We could listen to stories, sung in commercial breaks like teacher Cillah. More often than not kids performance is dependent on their first lower primary foundation and their teachers as well
My daughter is in pp2 everymorning she goes to school she mentions her classemate she has to share her snacks with her friend in school,I do buy snacks for two kids asubui so huwa naesabu i have two kids to buy snack for, but iv never met my daughter's friend.I hate to see children hungry.
Mine as well, she would buy me sanitary towels every month. Every time i go home l ho and visit her. She was a mother to me at a time when l really needed one.
