We can always measure the dissociation constant of acid by measuring the concentration of h+ ion. What bhaiya discussed is figuring it out with the help of just logic without experiment. ( for example, pka of HCl is -6.3, and pka of H2SO4 is -3. So, HCl is stronger)
Good question! Sulfuric acid is actually the weaker acid. The real question you are asking is: "What makes an acid strong?" The short answer is how easily the proton can leave the molecule in solution. That is, how readily HCl will break up into H+ and Cl- or H2SO4 will break up into H+ and HSO4-. The HSO4- anion is also an acid, but its ability to break up into H+ and SO4(2-) is far far less than either H2SO4 or HCl, so for all practical purposes, it doesn't count. So, for HCl, the estimated dissociation constant (have you gotten to chemical equilibrium yet? If not, bigger numbers mean more dissociation) is about 10^9.3(Acid dissociation constant) (others estimate 10^7 see: Ionization Constants of Inorganic Acids) where H2SO4 is about 10^6.63(Ionization Constants of Inorganic Acids). In either case, HCl is the stronger acid. Keep studying, and by all means, keep asking questions! (Andrew wolf, PhD)

Thanks shafat sharar. It was a slip of tongue. But, I hope it didn't make much hardle for you to understand the topic. Keep commenting, keep sharing!
vaiaaaaaaaaa......
Which one is the weakest acid?

Bhaia how will I find out the strength between an oxoacid and a hydracid???? For example, which one is stronger?? HCl or H2SO4????
Jar basicity beshi she beshi strong

all right. thanks
