I was born in 1958, and Christmas's were just like that for me....stockings at end of bed, leaving a note with a glass of sherry and a cake of some sort, usually a mince pie, for santa claus at the bottom of the chimney, which we all had, as no central heating till i was about 9 yrs old....❤
