I was at this game, it was my first AFL game, I was given tickets from work and was there with work colleagues. I can honestly say that we saw the dance and didn’t think twice about it. It was nothing and no one around us in the stand we’re talking about it. The controversy comes from people looking to make a thing of it, trolls from the internet and the media and you got to question their motives in making something out of it. To tell you the truth it was a boring game because Carlton were never in it.
I don't understand what the issue is. I dont follow AFL but in the NRL Greg Inglis does a "Goanna crawl" after every try and all of the fans (including me and my family) love it.

As a white Australian I’m embarrassed and appalled by the booing and the behaviour of the crowd. I think this indigenous war dance was awesome. We as a nation need to start embracing and understanding aboriginal traditions and customs. We can’t change the past, but we can come together to change the future.
