Thank you Accelerando T. How kind of you to post Maestro Mikhail Pletnev, the GENIUS pianist of this era, performing Chopin in 2022. He plays this polonaise with intense understanding of the work. Perfection!
Thank you so much Accelerando. The GENIUS Miikhail Pletnev plays so perfectly with beauty in every note. You are so😊 kind to share. He is my favourite pianist.
Great rendition of this difficult Chopin Polonaise. Pletnev seems to like the shimizu Kawai piano and I agree with him. These piano's are more often in use in piano competitions.
The piano forte and violin a chordophone oscillating sound waves New Zealand Antique instruments. Enjoy your piano virtuosity jazz inflections and classical music fusion unsurpassed.
Ir seems to be an impossible task, hahaha! Tried many times with no result. I myself found some concerts by hasard, like one I should attend on March 21st in Zürich's Tonhalle (apparently a tournée where he conducts RNO, with Lucas Debargue at pianoforte). Good luck!
His pianissimo is absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful pianist!
My favorite living pianist! One of the greatest of all time! Colossus!
Pletnev, always beyond expectation, what singing pianissimo!

Thank you for your upload ! For me, it was the only one, and the best ever performance about this Chopin piece.
Maestro Mikhail Pletnev relates so warmly with his audience.

Mademoiselle AccelerandoT !
Did not know.
Mmhhhh, will see what happens with next RNO's tournée!

Brand of piano?
Shigeru Kawai
Really amazing instrument
It has an action of composite material that's very lightweight. That's how he can play so pianissimo.
