God is supposedly all seeing and all knowing, so he knew Adam and Eve would eat of the tree of knowledge long before he created them. As a result of their 'sin', we all have to suffer. Since God knew all of it ahead of time, he is logically responsible for all the resulting suffering in the world. Satan had nothing to do with it. Hell, God would have had to known Lucifer would have rebelled as well. Either your God is incompetent, or evil. Perhaps both. Not a God I would want to worship.
