- A Sainsbury's grocery haul for my family of five!
This week I decided to shop in Sainsbury's for the majority of my shopping needs. I'll take you through what I bought, how much things cost and the total I spent this week.
Hopefully this will help some of you decide where is best to get your shopping this week or just give you a few ideas for your shopping and grocery needs 🙂

They only have to tell you if water is added if the ratio is more than 5%. I also note that Asda charge £6 per kilo for frozen fillets and theirs does say added water, so Sainsbury's is definitely the better buy. Great haul Vicki, I'm heading to Sainsburys now lol. Thanks for sharing xxx

I use fairy with the fairy fabric conditioner and scent boosters every time I open my draws and wardrobe I can smell it...lasts ages!!

I use bold poppy blossom liquid and lenor gold orchid conditioner But I find the magic ingredients to lovely smelling washing is the lenor scent booster beads. So I get them in the gold orchid too. Everyone thinks I'm mad as it all costs over £10 for all 3 but I do buy them when there in offer.

Spring roll sheets if u want to use them instead of rice paper and fill them up there are some continental shops around ukthat have rice paper as well .

I use Fairy non-bio and Lenor Summer Breeze with Tesco Laundry Cleanser, but I don’t use the scent boosters - I find I don’t need it.
I think Tesco for rice paper, definitely eBay. I buy quite a few food items from them that I can’t find , and they are great at delivery. 😃🥰🇬🇧

Its really hard to find good tomatoes. The best ones for me are LIDL cherry tomatoes from Holland.

Good question! It’s a French Bulldog that I got for our dog that sadly passed away 5 years ago. If you look at it upside down it does however look like a PlayStation controller 😂

Pilgrims choice cheese £2.60 Asda. Only 3 per customer, great deal at the minute Friday.. Not sure how long the offer is on for.

So lucky you have reduced prices in the UK…not much on the east coast USA…just spent $10.00 on a dozen eggs. Never any reduced prices on anything except maybe wal mart bread but I don’t shop there 😂
What happens to food near its use by date? Is it just binned 🤔 seems a shame x

It think here in the US before a store reduces price they donate to a food pantry or charity. I know where my aunt lives in a senior apartment building all local restaurants etc bring the leftovers there each day.

Shame all the veg comes in plastic packaging, pure failure by Sainsbury's
Sainsbury’s sell most of their veg loose as well as in plastic, so the customers can choose to buy loose if they wish.
Agreed, there aren’t a lot of options for loose fruit and vegetables in my store 😬
To be fair tesco, Lidl, M&S and ASDA use lots of plastic packaging and as a buyer, I prefer buying pre packed. A lot of packaging can be fully recycled so it's not all "bad"...
Sainsbury's do recycle these plastic packaging think other supermarkets have started doing it aswell
Then they blame us for climate change, they need to sell loose
