- Construction on our second location is officially underway! Located at 1607 Shattuck in the heart of North Berkeley, this 13,000 sq ft bouldering gym features:

Benchmark is committed to building and operating the best bouldering gyms in the Bay Area. This means thoughtfully curated spaces that foster connection and community, innovative wall designs, world-class setting, and programs that educate and inspire 🙌.
Our team spent months pouring over the details to design a facility that will provide an unprecedented bouldering experience for East Bay climbers...and we're beyond psyched to share it with all of you!
