Look at other players movements, in particular at times when you would want to go forward but not at full sprint, other players do not do little studder steps like Felo was and you only would do that because you are using ATS to make sure you are not full sprint coming around the corner so you have faster ADS to win the fight.

In order to slide cancel now after patch, you kinda half too and the ATS is different from this game than MW. MW was an actual speed difference.
