Millions of stray animals will be collected from the streets and sent to heaven. In fact, there is only one scientific solution to solve the problem of the stray animal population and help them live a healthier life. If you can catch millions of stray animals to euthanize them, you can also catch them to sterilize them. If I, as a citizen, can sterilize thousands of stray animals in a few years, the state can easily do this for all animals. This problem was created by people unconsciously buying and abandoning animals, and people have to solve this problem with more scientific methods. If this law is approved, I will never be able to look at my baby's face again, as he feeds these animals with excitement every day, and I will never be able to explain this law to him.

Many German online newspapers discuss that cruel law. I hope, protests and animal organisations can help the dogs. There should be more controlled natural habitats for stray dogs in Turkey. There would be no reason to euthanize healthy dogs then. But it's all a question of money in a country with a very high inflation rate.😢

I am American, and unfortunately, in the US it is the practice to unalive animals that are picked up by the authorities and not claimed within 10 days, even if the animals are completely healthy and adoptable. The Humane Society and other groups are constantly advocating for the animals but the state governments have the final say even though they are never willing to take responsibility for simple solutions such as TNR. You are correct that we must all unite and continue to speak out against cruel practices toward innocent animals.

I totally agree with you 💯% that this is a human problem & culling animals to cut back on the problem is not the answer. While it may reduce the population for a while, the cats & dogs they don't send to "heaven" as you so nicely put will still be out there having more kittens & puppies. The cruelty of this new Turkish law is is purely disgusting.
Onur you are 1000% right if they can euthanasize millions of Homeless animals then they can spay neuter and feed them.
This is genocide against innocent souls. And all because humans are irresponsible and they continue to breed cats and dogs and then they don't want them and they end up reproducing on the street. It is gut wrenching and infuriating at the same time.
