Awww, our bbs Batcat are almost grown up. :c And they’re fighting once again, well, what else is new. Each time one of them is ready to meet the other halfway, the other takes two steps back. It’s almost exhausting to ship them? Like, they are still so young, I get that their lives aren’t easy or sunshiny, but I still wish their relationship wasn’t so dramatic now and was more idk carefree and playful, like it was back in S1.

Selina is my favorite character but honestly the whole last part of "Yeah I thought you did." Was very unfair to Bruce. She's been spending the entire last section of S3 trying to convince everyone (mainly Bruce) that she didn't care about him. And then she turns around saying that he should be able to see through her act on not believe her? Even though she was purposefully being an ass to him to get him to back off. I love Batcat so much and they are my children but you're right it gets exhausting. XD still my OTP though

I don’t think she was trying to prove that she didn’t care for him. I think she was trying to prove to herself mainly that she didn’t need him. Like, he hurt and betrayed her and she wanted to not need or care for him but she still did. and that’s why she was so mad. but seriously, if he really believe she didn’t give a damn about him or alfred then she wouldn’t be there at all, asking how he was and if he was alright. because, actions speak louder than words. and it was so damn obvious that even though she was mad, she still cared a lot about him.

We tend to forget because of how attached to the character we got, but Selina isn't the hero. We feel for her and at times she had hero qualities, but at the end of the day Selina looks out for Selina. She only saw her point of view. She pushed Bruce away 9 times out of 10 but from her point of view the 1 time she didn't was something he should be thankful for. She also never saw an issue with not helping to find Bruce. But she showed up to the hospital out of guilt, if she had managed to actually tell Bruce that, things would have gone differently, but she couldn't. By the time she was able to really be open with her feelings towards the end of season 5, it was too late, Bruce had already decided he had to go

You can see how much it hurts him to tell her to leave him because in his eyes you can SEE how much he loves her. In all honesty though, she deserved it. All shes done is hurt him and bring him down, like yeah she cant express her emotions well and has a lot of issues because of her mother and being left on the street, but Bruce has patience and trys to help her. Selina just doesnt want to be helped

I can see where you coming from in that one hundred percent and there are some things to work on with her but it's not just her. I mean think about the society they live in. Gotham is basically separated in two distinct sides. Super poor where they basically have to be criminals to survive or the elite and wealthy who literally don't give a shit. She of course is in the former half. Like she said. She's had to just worry about herself to survive. I don't know they're exact ages here but they are under 18. And remember that her mother left her alone 11 years ago. It's not just that she abandoned Selina but she abandoned her as a child. And by child I mean like somewhere between 4 and 6. That gives someone major trust issues. Now add onto it Bruce who at times is great but then literally half the time he is using her for something. She even says it this season how he only comes to her when he needs a favor. And then take into account Alfred at EVERY instance tearing Selina down. I love Alfred but I can't get behind him treating a barely pubescent child like the scum of the earth. All this put together and it equals a very unsure 15-17 year old girl who probably thinks Bruce can't love her or care for her. She's a pawn to him. I honestly can't remember her bringing him down outside of right before he got kidnapped. And I think at that point she'd realized it. That she was unlovable. Bruce uses her, her mother came back to use her, her friends were her friends because they needed each other to survive.
Shit this was not supposed to be a rant. XD I'm sorry. I have a little too many feelings about these fictional characters.
Also don't take this as me pushing off Selina's problems. I just always see this opinion and feel it's always one sided so I though I'd through my two cents in.
Either way though these two are barely teens I think it's good for them to separate and kind of get their shit together. They both have gotten a little co dependent on each other. But that doesn't mean I don't want them to come back next season and realize they love each other XD.

I'm sorry I'm gonna be the one to say it. Selina deserved that. The last two times she talked to him, she disowned him. The only time she ever cared about Bruce was when he was in danger and even then aside from trying to kill Bruce's clone, what did she even do to help him? Nothing. The Clone escaped and she decided to fuck off until the smoke cleared. The only thing Bruce ever did, was lie about her mother and he did that because he didn't want her to end up like him. She punched him, she disowned him and left him to nearly get beat to a pulp. And to top it off he gets kidnapped.
No, I agree. I love Selina, but I hated the way she treated Bruce this season. Hopefully, she'll pull her act together in S4.

Same here. I used to like her character till this season. Still I can't wait to see her reaction to Vigilante Bruce. She just now decided to rise up the ranks from petty thief to a professional criminal. So when someone is going around beating the shit out of those who may or may not end up working for her and Tabitha, she might be out for his blood.
Can't wait for that transformation on selina when season 4 comes on but also meaning like she won't be a homeless person anymore too. I bet next season we will hate Bruce and like Selina again. Imagine this will happen.
First of all he only acted that way because he thought Silver was in love with him and that he didn't know she had ulterior motives. Had Selina just played along until the time was right and told Bruce when they were alone together, he would have at least heard her out. Instead she decided to let the claws out early and made herself look bad forcing her to get proof. It's Selina's own fault on that one. Second of all, she lied about witnessing the Wayne Killer's face so she could get out of Juvie, she exploited Bruce's pain to get out of jail. So it's little wonder why Bruce wouldn't believe her about Silver. With that out of the way, the only reason why she would hate him now, aside from him disowning her, is because he's interfering with her aspirations for being a high ranked professional criminal.
