I am definitly number one. I even have all of the regional weapons in my inventory at all times so i can Complete the Aesthetic. One time, I made a map of a giant hyrulean road trip to visit each stable and rode on my horse pretending to just be a normal hylian. I cooked a bunch of meals and would eat breakfast and dinner, only wore the hylian tunic, and specifically got the traveler's weapon set. I also never dye the clothing because i love the original colours too much

i genuinely am so afraid to kill my horse that i only ever use her every once in a while. as soon as a battle hits I jump off and make sure shes a good enough distance away
i sometime will ride straight into a group of enemies and hop off just as my horse touches them so my horse just plows through some of them while i beat the crap out of the guys that the horse didn't hit. teamwork, lmao.

DEFINITELY TYPE 4!!!! I caught the white horse when I only had a single wheel of stamina. Sneaking up and getting on and getting bucked off over and over again till I tamed it. I’ve also spent literal irl months of not being able to progress the game much because I caught the lord of the mountain and I absolutely refuse to get off

i used to do that with the skeleton horses. i would sit by a campfire every time the sun was about to rise so i wouldnt have to watch the horse crumble into the ground

I did do that on my master mode profile until I got bored and started the quest to 100% the entire game and finished and I recently got permanently the bow of light and it’s really fun, go watch how to get it easily at el duende 05 (it’s really easy)

You forgot "The Champion" : The person who refuses to wear anything but the tunic and Hylian pants if they need environmental resistance they use jewelry, potions or weapons to keep them the right temperature and if they want to just roam they add the Majoras Mask or Thunder Helm for lightning. This is what I do but I'm also the collector type of player because I maxed out every possible piece or armor to level 4 through the fairy fountains including Amiibo outfits.

tfw you're a murdering role-playing completionist horse lover: stayed in the role while finishing the main story, then played post-game as a more murderous, completionist link who became fed up with the state of hyrule and went on a crusade to kill as much as they could before blood moons erased the work between finding koroks and admiring the sights. all the while, i have my one horse who's my bestie and if anyone saw me get teary eyed when they got sniped by a guardian one time, no you didn't (thank you, horse god, for bringing him back though)
The only reason I partially identify with The Murderer is because some NPCs piss me off and I want them dead- like the one flower lady outside the shrine. Or I want to just murder a Yiga without sitting through dialogue

I have a very specific horse that I love. And must always get that exact horse each play through. It's the one that is all black with the white/silver mane and tail and blue eyes. There is only one like it in the whole game and I will search everywhere to find it

you dont know how many reloads i made to kill my first guardian perfectly with 2 parries and then jump to the left avoiding another laser to just time that perfectly to parry a second guardian that came from behind making him flip and cut his legs with a soldier claymore i get in the coliseum (i died to the lynel 5 times) just to kill him slowly but surely.
Yeah i didnt know that the closest tower was the most dangerous with 2 guardians in the zone and i just started the game, i mean i was literally with one circle of stamina and 4 hearts and a pot lid as a shield, with a soldier claymore and a bokoblin bow.

I like cooking things. Cooking random things together and getting full recovery was always cool to me.
I do the same thing I always make sure I have like 2 or 3 pages of food!
If I ever get a switch…I don’t think I can make the Fairies and Monster Guts recipes with a healthy conscience. mURDER!! Cannibalism!!!! (kinda. fairies are persons, monsters are implied to be persons/have their own cultures too)

I did the same but too early so now I have a full inventory space of 5-10 heart heals while I only have 5 hearts.i feel pain everytime I eat a 5 heal food
I’m a combination of 1/3: the explorer. Sees a clear path to travel and completely ignores it in favor of finding their own way. Loves finding secrets and wears the appropriate gear to help further their exploration. I’m waaay to lazy to try and 100% the game, but I still wanna explore all the nooks and crannies.
You'll find all the koroks if you look in every nook and cranny, but its probably just better that you don't explore every single tiny ledge or rock in the game.

I'm definitely a Rollplayer. I love collecting the proper outfits for each region and wearing them. In the area. I even wear what I think are proper Link outfits for some of the Divine Beast challenges. Like wearing all the Outfit of the Wind when dealing with the zora. That outfit was from a flooded Hyrule so it fits to wear it to prevent Hyrule from flooding. Or the outfit of the Sky when around the Rito to exert dominance. Since I believe they are the descendents of the loftwings from Skyward Sword. And whenever I go to Gerudo Town I have a full set of Sword, shield, and bow I wear that are all Gerudo. I even wear the hylian hood when it rains to keep the rain out of Link's eyes.

Actually: It's a quite interesting conundrum in the lore.
According to Hyrule Historia, in the Adult Timeline, which specifically contains, Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks... (ironic I know.) The Zora evolved into the Rito over a span of centuries after the Great Flood. You see, because of the unnatural water created by the gods, the Zora found the water completely uninhabitable.
Now, this is all fine for an explanation for the Wind Waker, but now things get tricky.
See, if Zora exist within Breath of the Wild, then how did the Rito come to be within this Hyrule?
A very popular theory, is that every timeline converges into Hyrule Warriors, which is then followed by Breath of the Wild.
This is because in Hyrule Warriors, the timelines start to cross within the story thanks to Cia's meddling. So that means, The Great Sea, Skyloft, the Twilight Realm, and much more are all easily accessible.
So, logically, from this bizarre time traveling mess created from this, the Rito have quite literally to live in this morphed Hyrule, by means of Time Travel.
So, basically: The Rito are the Zora from another dimension.

I'm the person that tries, tries again. I get killed all the time but I refuse to back down until I get whatever thing it was I was trying to get. I'm in love with this game and I never really liked Zelda that much as a kid. Never played it on NES or Gamecube. Did play it on Wii, made decent progress before I left it but i love BOTW because I can go anywhere. Having a horse that can get killed makes me anxious tho and I tend to leave it stabled 😂. I know, I need to just get over it.
hmm if you are scared for your horse, maybe talk to some npcs in and around highland stable. they might help
It is possible to get your dead horses back alive! But I always feel bad when my horse dies anyway, the sound they make gives me a horrible sensation.
It’s not like red dead redemption 2. Your horses can be revived.

I'm type four, absolutely.
On my first playthrough I just got a bunch of horses because I love the process of taming them with cuddles. Then on the Master Mode one I decided to only get the bare minimum, so I got two. One average chestnut with white socks and white face I named Misko, and a faster, all black one I named Aran. I go everywhere with them, and even use them to fight small enemies. Not bigger ones tho, because it's dangerous and I don't want to visit that demon to revive them.

Fun tip: sick of wasting your weapons getting wood? I’ve always used bombs. One to chug down, one to turn into a bundle of wood. It’s also great because sometimes you can do multiple at once. It’s a quick and effective way to get wood.
the roleplayer type also emotionally attaches to the npcs in the game and thinks of how the relationships between the npcs and link are (they are obsessed with the peatrice arc in skyward sword)

I take my horse Nox everywhere, we go on apple hunting trips together so I can feed them to him 😌 If I have to leave him somewhere, I make sure he's covered by trees or a little overpass just in case it rains. I soothe him when we go on super long trips and stop halfway to feed him. I even lost my sanity over that horsEBACK ARCHERY MINI GAME just to get more horse gear 😌 I love my horse
As a Completionist myself, I can confirm that after finishing every side quest, finding and beating every shrine, and maxing out every meal and every outfit's stats, when I arrived at Ganon, my theme song started playing

The Nudist: The Goron Blood Brothers, Paya
The "Hood": Old Man (combat pro version), Dai (5-year-old version)
The Pacifist: Kilton, Beedle
The Self Proclaimed "Pro": Kohga
The Glitcher: error 404- NPC not found
The Roleplayer: Vilia
The Murderer: the Yiga Clan (towards NPCs only)
The Completionist: Nat (currently focusing on Hearty Truffles)
The Horse Lover: Nazbi, Quince (if you swap out 'horse' for 'dog')
The Person Who Never Plays: Daruk (difficulty learning controls), Ganon (purposefully plays badly)
I guess I fit mostly into role one xd My favorite thing to do post game is just taking photos with the camera rune of every possible nice looking location. Playing with lighting, using flowers, bugs, or npcs as “models,” and trying to give link a decent looking outfit for each picture is really fun and satisfying :DD …the only downside is that it’s really painful to delete older photos for more space
There needs to be a type that only wears the Dark link armor.

Player type number 6: The stylist. I love dressing link in stuff, like say I’m gonna ride the master cycle, I put on clothes that make him look like a biker. Or if I am going to certain places I might put on royal guard clothes.
Edit: which kind of falls into the category of roll player but a little less serious. I used to never care what i was wearing so long as it was the strongest. But ever since I got the DLC and got all the outfits I’m kind a hybrid of the pacifist and the stylist.

I have yet to find a type that fits me.
But on a side note. I've been playing botw a ton recently and it's crazy how I've had botw since release on the Wii U but I'm still discovering new things about it. I found a quest I never saw before, the Hebra Leviathan bones and the shrine with it, areas I've never even been to before, and so much more. Not to mention how I'm just now teaching myself tricks, which I'm starting at the windbomb one. As much as people have their gripes with it, I think botw might be one of the best Nintendo Switch games I've played, and as an avid player of Nintendo games that means a lot. Dare I even say botw is better than Mario Odyssey? Maybe, I don't want to get too controversial haha.
But seriously the game is years old and I'm still finding out more and more stuff about it. The fact people are still playing this shows how great of a game it is.
Edit: Spelling mistake that bothered me so much that I had to fix it.
I'm the type of player who abandons the game after several months, then starts all over again... and have some idea of what I'm doing since I've played most of the beginning stuff over and over again, I try to find the safest routes to villages so that way I don't die but never actually finished the game or have any desire to. I go into the game wanting to collect all the memories and complete all side quests but then abandon the game in few months time and the cycle continues.
I will get my hands on a horse ever once in a while, but I don't use them very often as I don't play BoTW as much. I'm not very committed to it, but when BOTW 2 comes out I'm going to actually try to complete it and actually play it. Same with when Splatoon 3 comes out.

There's no armour type I love more than the green Tunic of the Wild that you get from completing all the shrines.
I just wish I could obtain it sooner; because, 100% of the time that I get it, the game is already over.
My entire family plays this game. My brother is the murderer, my dad is the horse lover, my mom is the one who doesn't play, and I'm everything else.
The Talus hunter(aka me): they really wanna kill as many Taluses as they can sometimes for fun and sometimes for money
I am number one. I literally live the moment and place, dedicate days making cakes and cooking, go on horse walks, enjoying the view, exploring, getting new fruit, fishes and meat, sleeping in the villages even if it's unnecessary. This game is my complete comfort :)

Tip for those GAS GAS GAS lizalfos: Find something link can stand on. Then use bullet time. Though you would basically be relying on arrows to kill lizalfos so yea

When I am a roleplayer: wears the correct clothes, has the main gear, has the correct FOOD, and windbombs for no reason.
When im a murderer: kills everything I see, collects anything I see, does any mission, fights calamity ganon like a quadrillion times, and wind bombs every single time and never travels. 😂😂😂

This is adorbs - wholesome AF. I'm an 'Explorer/NoseyParker', but I always try to ride back to Hateno at the end of each session so Link can sleep in his own bed.
I noticed a trend with these videos so far. I am all but one or two of these. I am definitely not a pacifist and I rarely ride my horse, sadly. I gaurantee if I had a copy of Oot and MM I would gladly ride Epona but fast travel and gliding are things I never get tired of plus the Mastercycle. There's no reason to get a horse. I didn't bother much for horses in master mode either. I got one horse and named it "Horse" and I only ride it for the moon jump glitch

I have a five speed horse but it only has 3 stamina so I don't use it unless I'm rushing somewhere.

Or feed it stamina carrots
And by the time you've fed all your stamina carrots to your horse
You'll have spent half as much food as you do refueling the master cycle

Horses don't need fuel and come in a variety of colors. Endura carrots give 3 temperary spurs. The ancient saddle and bridle add two more spurs that are tied to the armor. Master cycle feels a bit too floaty and needs the aforementioned fuel.
Zelda's Lullaby is really my sensitive point, everytime I heard it I just can't help but feel melancholic, I loved that bgm so much when i first heard it and I still love it now

Roleplayer because I would always go around in the clothes Link wore 100 years ago went out of my way to complete the divine beasts in the order that I was told was the actual in-story order they were completed in, and went out of my way to get all the shrines and memories because that's what Link would've done, which is also why I'm part completionist, cause I got all the shrines and memories, and I'm also a horse lover because that was a prefect description of what I like to do, except for fight along side my horse, cause I'm usually too scared of having my horse accidentally die (which is exactly what happened on my way to Gerudo desert when I was going to do my last divine beast on my latest playthrough)
I am the pacifist because fighting lynels and guardians scare the living shit out of me
Try to learn the timing for parrying guardian lasers. It is really easy for some reason. They become more of a toy than a threat once you learn the timing.

it's the combination of 1 to 4 for me especially number 2, i like murdering bokoblins after they kept killing me on the first day of me playing master mode that whenever i see one ill go then kill them and that is the reason why i learned doing both thunderclap rush, infinite bullet time and the daruk thunderclap rush... especially combining the TCR AND IBT
theres also a type 6 (“ADHD Link”) in which they are constantly distracted by every interesting thing they see that they end up accidentally completing the main quest while only experiencing about 40% of the game (this was me)
Kind of a roleplayer and horse lover XD In my first playthrough, I tamed my first horse (All black with white spots on his butt, named him Sleipnir) and ONLY travelled with him through the entire playthrough. He's gentle natured and only has 3 stamina, but he has been my absolute mvp and I think my Link would consider him his other half. I mean think about it, Link can never stay in one place very long, and his horse is his only constant buddy. Sleipnir has taken guardian blasts, been frozen by arrows, nearly drowned in a bog Artax-style, and he didn't need no save scumming to survive it all.
(Except that one time I charged him off a cliff, my b D:)
But yeah, I just love how unique botw horses feel. I feel like I'll never have another Sleipnir again, can't imagine fighting the final boss with anyone else :'D
I like the sound bokoblins make when link electrocutes them so I run around hyrule looking for them, so I can electrocute them using urbosas fury or some weapon. It’s even better when it’s raining

I was the overly cautios hero in my first playthrough: a mix of roleplayer with completionist brushes.
And that's because I found at first the overworld very dangerous.
Once I grinded and tackled the main quest: "wtf?! When I became this OP?!"
I remember once my horse got attacked and fell off a bridge and it started raining and it was really dramatic and I cried about the horse and sprinted around the game trying to revive it
Yep, I'm the horse lover. Watched the previous one too and it was only when we got there I was really like YEP. She was my first horse, never ride any other horses, literally managed to bring her to the great deku tree with me and everything (went through the foggy maze and all of it). If there was a "puzzle obsessed" player, though, I'd be that- every shrine, every challenge, every labyrinth, I'm there.
I am. Roleplayer. Murderer. And horse lover, if my horse dies I'm devastated, I choose them out very carefully and after the have a long run I let them rest. 😊

There’s a type six: the Bugs Bunny Player. This type will do stuff like rolling a bomb to an enemy on a precarious ledge or toss a metal weapon to a bokoblin during a lightning storm. He also likes sneaking up on Lynela just to smack them with a club and run off.

The best part about botw is the fact that you can just chop down trees or mine on death mountain and still have fun.
The last one is exactly my dad, when an enemy surprised him he will forget how to play and just spam buttons. One time he just repeatedly jumped into a bokoblin as it killed him 💀
I am the fifth type simply because I'm confused about controls and don't know how to play games like this at all. But I'm trying. Now, for example, I collect arrows for a battle with a false ganon and just do all sorts of funny things that I saw on TH-cam.

I didn’t play at all for two or three years after making a lot of progress, but recently picked the game back up after burning myself out on Animal Crossing. So now I am a basically a newbie with an impressive arsenal at my disposal. I may not know what I am doing, but at least I am doing it in style.

i just go around murdering every lynel and then play until a bloodmoon happens and go around to beat the lynels again
I'm literally Roleplayer, Murderer, Completionist and Horse Lover combined.

I'm a mixture a 1 and 3, if I'm being honest, the only reason I'm 1 is because I just pick up weapons in the area i see and travel around with the armour as it protects me the best in that area

When I had a bad day I used to play TLoZBotW only to be with my horse. And if the area was rainy its a bonus.
My second play through I have become number 4 and it’s great to have a friend around.
when i saw them cut down all the trees on satori mountain i was like ME but also felt really called out, also the fact ik where those trees are shows that ive done it quite a few times
I'm definitely a combo of the pacifist, roleplayer and horse lover. Lmaoo but role-playing definitely the most of all I just love it idk why.
I’m the Easily Distracted: looking for a shrine or riding my horse along a trail, when suddenly, ooh, that cliff looks interesting, I wonder what’s on it? And I forget what I wanted to do in the first place.
I’m a horse lover but with a twist I end up getting my horse stuck in various locations and ending up having to sprint to the next stable over just to get my horse back
Here's what I am:
Roleplayer: I wear the clothes that fit with the scenery
Murderer: I usually recklessly attack anything I can, when I feel like it. When I dont, its usually stealthy time.
Completion: Im not really in this category but I want max hearts and stamina, also wanna complete all shrines and get all memories for the true ending.
Horse lover: I definitely fit here. I take my horse everywhere, it actually really helpes me get to places faster, and i just love riding and fighting on my horse. It hasn't died once, also have my stable filled with horses, made a story thing for my main horse, where my fastest horse is actually my main horses brother, and I care about appearance and stuff their faces full of apples.
Never plays: I always play it and its really fun, def don't fit here.

Type two is definitely me all the way. The crazy thing is I fight more npcs than I do actual enemies😂
And the planner....who has played before ..and is ready to fight anything but has to have the weapons to do it right and knows the battle well....and I am type 3 and 4 as well ....Help me!!! LOL ...and my husband will fight anything anytime no regrets ..But no wrong way to enjoy this game..But we can giggle at this because it all in fun..and that is the best part remember it is a game to have fun with..I have over 3000 hours in the game and still love it ...
