I would love to see how your riding lessons go. It's always been a dream of mine to learn how to ride and I've been toying with the idea for a few years now, I need to get on it, apparently!

Did you show at Caledon, Elle? We’re similar in age I think, but I showed on the Ottawa area circuit. Our barn would sometimes head to Caledon and Quebec circuits growing up. The horse world is a small world! 🐎

Love this video! A couple things. 1. I have 3 young boys and you're right, everything is a gun or a sword or something lol. 2. I LOVE to hear about the horses. I wondered with that clip. After 10 years of working at sanctuaries and studying equine behavior I finally bought a horse of my own and it's so peaceful. He's green so I'm training him for trails, but he's only 15 so we've got all the time in the world. He was such a nervous Nellie when I first met him, but his trust in me has grown so much in the last 2 years. I love it. (Also seems like 2 years is a long time to not be rideable yet, but I had a baby in there so we're taking the slow,steady way)

It was my grandmothers (actually it was my GREAT grandmothers wedding ring which then went down to gran) and I just received it. 🤎

It was great to learn something new about you! I never knew you liked riding or wanted to live on a farm. That’s awesome! For ages, I told myself I was going to move to a small town and live in a cute little cottage overlooking fields of land, mountains or water. Simple life. Escape the corporate life of D.C. and just focus on what matters. Terrified to do so alone, but I know one day I’ll muster up the courage to do it lol I hope you move to your farm one day! ☺️

Video was great! I too was a competitive hunter, and was exceptionally good at it too.... did it for 36 year. I stopped, and the only thing I miss is the smell of the barn and the grooming aspect. Casual riding would be fun, but I'm not there yet. Would be fun to see videos of you getting back to it.

I loved this! I definitely struggle with my kiddos making a huge mess and it giving me anxiety. I’m still working on letting it go, but I know it’s a process. Elle, I can’t tell you how happy this vlog makes me! It’s just so relaxing to my soul. Also that pup is SUPER cute!! (And could be the reason Bernie is scratching a bit more than usual.)
Dear parents!
When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!!

Ok this vlog was great! I am a million percent with you on the Halloween candy and parent tax. I do it to my son lol. As a kid my mom would “hold our bag” while we walked, when we got home and dumped it all on the table all the Almond Joys, which is my favorite candy, were gone. She use to say, when you have kids you’ll do it, it’s parent tax for taking you 😂😂.
Also an fan of UGG too, they youngins can make fun all they want lol.

Yes! We take the parent tax all the time and the kids even ask if they have to give a tax when they get a treat 😂. One of my kids in particular cannot control his sugar intake and goes crazy on too much sugar.
