Everyone's got their own preference. I've listened to both drummers. Mine lies with Kofi Emma. Dude's got controlled strokes. Discipline (knowing when to hold back) is everything for me on the drum kit. Reason why someone like Larnell Lewis is my favorite drummer.
A real drummer, void of bias, will obviously see the employment of technique and vocabulary that Kofi Emma has displayed in this video. Koffi takes it fare and square based on this video.. But Sabu is still one of my favorite drummers 💯

For Sabu, that guy is a complete drummer per excellence, a legend and a musician to recon with in Africa. Sabu has a way of being the driver in the music all the way such that you don't disconnect at all should you be part of the musicians..its always very clear that he is in charge. one of the best Gospel music team in Africa (joyous celebration) has Sabu as her best drummer so far.... Check JC12-JC17. I respect Kofi, I respect Sabu.
