Good video! agree with your take, having the same trophies for two professions is huge. I’m a 200 JC and just need 2 more of the major trophy mats. Thinking I’ll level armoring next. I’m on Castle of Steel as well
8:22 "...you can make heavy, medium, you can make light" HOW ? I was just looking at my professions and light and medium armors are made at the Outfitting station...was there an update or something where they changed stuff ?
A few weeks ago I reached 200 EVERYTHING. And I came from a low pop server, MANUALLY farmed EVERYTHING, except less than 1% of the T5 mats that a few people donated when they found out what I was doing. And only bought less than %1 of the mats from the auction house, because prices on low pop was impossible to be practical. IT WAS A CRAZY GRIND. No one in my company helped me with any of this lol. Anyway, Weaponsmithing and Armorsmithing are two of the best money makers on my server because of timeless shards. Furnishing has been great because you don't need trophies, food, etc..

I’m at furnishing 169 slowly leveling it just to make my own trophies and for friends but your right not really a money maker but you never know later if they add new recipes but at least by then I’ll be 200.
I agree the most important or the best crafting profession is armoring, as a new player once u reached lvl 60. U will want to get a better gear. Voidbent is really the best stepping stone. Once u get your heavy voidbent ur good for a long while in PVE. Sure voidbent is not as great anymore like when on release. But that 2.8% luck plus resilent is really really good tbh. And plus its actually really really easy to make now. And u make a ton of MONEY selling them. LIKE A LOT! But u really need to lvl up ur refining skills along side with armoring or u wont get the most of it. Refining like smelting/leatherworking and weaving.
I also think arcana can be a good money maker on crafting weapons 595-600 gs. I think this is because of dungeons, Genesis and Lazarus doesn't drop legendary name items for mages with best perk in slot like all the other weapons (infamy for example). Only a firevine in genesis have 2 perks best in slot for fire staff. So that makes Ice gauntlets and void gauntlet very valuable with perfect perks. I got a legendary ice gauntlet with Keen, Refreshing and enchanted that i sold for 70k gold on my server.
Oh ya they can make money but for me, dungeons are the way to go for weapons, I have almost every bis or close to bis weapons in the game all from running these expeditions and I didn’t have to spend allllll that time and money to level the professions. But I agree, they can definitely still make you money IF you get super luck rolls.
On my server certain housing items I’ve been selling and making 1-2k gold. All the damage modifier trophies to certain creatures make also between 800-1500 just on basic trophies and sell within a day. Chests not so great on sales the found ones make more gold like cursed or marble So if you go into it thinking chests sell don’t try furnishing, if you have people worried about not having a high enough peacock score to show off their houses then you’ll make good enough gold on it.
Honestly… gathering is the best for $$ crafting is a coin sink but can be profitable I am Max gs 600 on wep / arm / jewl. They are all profitable if you know the niches. Wep for example can be expensive but if you use all leg mats and swap asmo for cinni you can guarantee 590 gs and sell the item for a decent profit. Jewl can be profitable but it’s high investment, and I’d only recommend if you have large capital to invest in multiple shards to do multiple crafts at once.
Ohhhhhh that’s right!!! Have you got any yet? Really wondering if you can get loaded dice or any of the good ones. That would totally make furnishing worth.

@@kylecharrington984 someone on our server did get the golden steel schematic from an aptitude chest. I will tell you though that not every chest has a guaranteed trophy mat in it so sinking money into them will not always pay off.
@@sl3ndermmo You can get trophy mats only for basic trophies, so only stacked deck is worth it, but you get in only from 2nd chest and from 3rd you may get golden steel storage chest shematic. But it's so expensive that it may not be worth spending materials.
You need to fish to get ~2261 exp every time you want to fish, do this for however long it takes 200 time you will hit lvl 200. Why do you want to fish, because the legendary fish are used for food for certain stats.
If you are max jewel crafting. You should roll rings with your asmo instead of just selling the cool downs.. BIG money to be made on rings compared to the asmo. Do you do this? I'm working on jewelry crafting so I can try my friend told me about this.
I sure did!! When I have enough Asmo for a ring or piece of jewelry, I make one, usually rings but my last 2 were 598 and 597… I still put them up for sale for around 10k and still haven’t sold. I’m gonna keep trying though. We got JC to 200 for a reason, definitely need to use it. They can go for crazy ass amounts if you happen to roll 3 decent/great perks.
Got 170 weaponsmith and 150 arcana then sell your T5 honning stone => cost 60-80 gold to make sell for 150-200 gold each. No need trophees or gear set its great you you can continue power leveling your professions with the ROI only problem I sell like 40 to 70 stones/day (Pro tips : put buy orders and cut the prices just before wars and invasions :-D )
I probably need to have something explained regarding armoring: I stopped at 186, because I did not really see the point of it, since once your expertise hits 590, you´ll get legendary 600 armor too. Why is it so good when you can only choose 1 perk and the rest is completely random? I still don´t get it.
Well you can get 1 perk and 1 attribute with timeless shards now. I like it because you can craft voidbent armor at a guaranteed 600 legendary gear score AND sell them! And once you are at 590 expertise, the legendary gear drops are still super rare. That’s my take on it.
Most just let people know they will take whatever for tips. I always crafted stuff for my guys and never charged anything but told people, If they want to tip anything, gimme a handful of motes lol.
All professions...suck, u make it to 200 to beg people to craft something to make like 200-300 coin while you have spend like 100k coins to lvl it up...my opinion is focus on lvling the refining/harvesting professions to sell your daily cds...as for voidbent armors it costs like 6-7k to make a glove for example and it sells for 7-7.5k the same goes for almost all professions.

Weapon smith is more money sink, you can try if you have money cap . But more profitable (with armor which gives +2 weapon Smith gearscore bonus)

Furnishing aptitude crates give trophy mats and schematics worth doing if you dont want to spend hours upon hours hunting trophy mats

On my server the 40 strength food sales for $500-$1000 for 1 meal. Takes legendary gnufish from fishing 😅
