Dear Rebekah, this has quickly become my favourite fall video of 2024, it captures American fall traditions so well (in a good way of course)! I'm from Germany and we don't have public pumpkin patches like this, we don't have Halloween, and we don't have Thanksgiving... You have an awesome place to shop, love it! I’ve always wanted to go to a corn maze and take a hayride, but I never have. I do decorate my porch for Fall (not Halloween as a Christian) I also decorate for the other holidays and seasons too. I love decorating! I have used real pumpkins on my porch in the past but money is tight now and faux is more practical. I either got my real ones from nurseries , markets or my favorite local little farms just outside of the suburbs. The one I go to is on the honor system, you just leave your money and pick what you want: pumpkins, cornstalks (tall or short), hay bales (small or large) and pick yourself sunflowers! I’m gonna get a hay bale and stick my metal pumpkin in it. I Love that place! My hair looks just like that chickens between the humidity and when I wake up😂 I have a sweet tooth too (it’s bad) and our weather is just lovely right now!

Actually the couple that owns it gots to our church so that makes it extra special. We always meet up with our grown kids and grandkids and we all go on the hayride and pick out our pumpkins and mums. They usually have face painting and crafts for the kids. It’s a fun time!! We always get apple cider and apple cider donuts. Yumm!! Those treats you showed looked delish! I love sweets! I actually made some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies the past weekend. It was so fun shopping with you at that farm! Trey and I were trying to reach through the TV to grab those apple cider donuts! Lol we have never really heard of eating cheese curds before. Absolutely loved seeing the fuzzy caterpillar and the chicken as well! Those flowers in the beginning are called Celosia and they are so pretty, hope you have a great week!

I love going to the pumpkin patch, they have so many different kinds, colors and shapes. I always decorate my porch with real pumpkins and mums, in fact I just decorated mine today. I bought two orange, two red and one lavender color. So far I have mostly orange pumpkins and one green one, we are growing some little gourds in our garden that are about ready to pick. I live in Illinois the weather here has been great this past week cool nights in the 40's and 50's and 60 and 70's during the day, I'm loving it. But it's supposed to warm up in the high 80's and get humid again 😒 Can't wait to see how you decorate your porch!!
I live in Virginia in the US and there is an Apple orchard my daughter and I love to spend half the day at. They have a cafe, cold adult beverages, a general store with lots of goodies and the BEST Apple cider donuts! My daughter and I have been known to polish off a whole dozen and then have to buy more to take home! 🤣. Fall is my favorite season!
Hello Hello you sweet pumpkin! 😊 What a treat this was!! The area was so pretty and colorful. Such an adorable market. It is incredible to see how many different types of pumpkins there are. We enjoy cooking up some of the gourds to make soup. I have seen other youtubers use the dried gourds for their decor but I haven't seen them yet here. I hope to though. I also have a sweet tooth and I enjoy homemade apple pie and pumpkin pie at this time of the year. I also enjoy hot apple cider with added spices. It is all so delicious. 🥧 Hot chocolate and pumpkin lattés... oh so good!! It really is a special time of the year. I almost feel that it is a time for new beginnings and a time to reflect on what we have and what we can be grateful for. I really loved the farm and the farm store that you went to. You’re so lucky you have that in your area. All of the pumpkins were gorgeous and I thought the stems were special. I don’t remember stems like that on our pumpkins, but I think I just go to the grocery store. I loved the black chicken with the white crown or fuzz around its head. And all that food looked awesome. I was getting so hungry watching it. Thank you so much for sharing it all with us.

Joyce Humphrey I Go to festivals every Saturday my favorite time of the year. Love to collect new pieces to enjoy as I go. Love apple cider and the donuts are to die for. I like to wait to buy mums too I want to have them for Halloween get at the last possible chance. I was florist for twenty five years I like to grow flowers that I can use in fall as well Gerber daisies make pretty cut fresh vases yellows, plums etc with grasses. Have saved so much from passed years to enjoy have wrap around porches to fix pretty with sun flowers also to mix in, use what ever makes you happy and what you have add maybe one or two things per year. You need not to spend so much it will come in a short time last I am now getting more Halloween but I just mix them in but my kids like to steal them to take home with them LoL. This year it has been so hot we are mostly Praying for rain!

I feel the same way about the color of the mums. I much prefer the fall colors. I use real pumpkins and gourds for decorating. Where I live in Virginia it’s pretty cool in the fall. Our pumpkins last all fall. After fall my chickens get the pumpkins. I definitely have a sweet tooth! I LOVE hot apple cider! I look so forward to it in the fall.

I love going to the pumpkin patch, they have so many different kinds, colors and shapes. I always decorate my porch with real pumpkins and mums, in fact I just decorated mine today. I bought two orange, two red and one lavender color. So far I have mostly orange pumpkins and one green one, we are growing some little gourds in our garden that are about ready to pick. I live in Illinois the weather here has been great this past week cool nights in the 40's and 50's and 60 and 70's during the day, I'm loving it. But it's supposed to warm up in the high 80's and get humid again 😒 Can't wait to see how you decorate your porch!!

I live in Virginia in the US and there is an Apple orchard my daughter and I love to spend half the day at. They have a cafe, cold adult beverages, a general store with lots of goodies and the BEST Apple cider donuts! My daughter and I have been known to polish off a whole dozen and then have to buy more to take home! 🤣. Fall is my favorite season!
Hello Hello you sweet pumpkin! 😊 What a treat this was!! The area was so pretty and colorful. Such an adorable market. It is incredible to see how many different types of pumpkins there are. We enjoy cooking up some of the gourds to make soup. I have seen other youtubers use the dried gourds for their decor but I haven't seen them yet here. I hope to though. I also have a sweet tooth and I enjoy homemade apple pie and pumpkin pie at this time of the year. I also enjoy hot apple cider with added spices. It is all so delicious. 🥧 Hot chocolate and pumpkin lattés... oh so good!! It really is a special time of the year. I almost feel that it is a time for new beginnings and a time to reflect on what we have and what we can be grateful for. You are so right, we need to embrace every minute we have to enjoy the beauty of this glorious season. 🍁🍁🍁

I really loved the farm and the farm store that you went to. You’re so lucky you have that in your area. All of the pumpkins were gorgeous and I thought the stems were special. I don’t remember stems like that on our pumpkins, but I think I just go to the grocery store. I loved the black chicken with the white crown or fuzz around its head. And all that food looked awesome. I was getting so hungry watching it. Thank you so much for sharing it all with us.

Joyce Humphrey I Go to festivals every Saturday my favorite time of the year. Love to collect new pieces to enjoy as I go. Love apple cider and the donuts are to die for. I like to wait to buy mums too I want to have them for Halloween get at the last possible chance. I was florist for twenty five years I like to grow flowers that I can use in fall as well Gerber daisies make pretty cut fresh vases yellows, plums etc with grasses. Have saved so much from passed years to enjoy have wrap around porches to fix pretty with sun flowers also to mix in, use what ever makes you happy and what you have add maybe one or two things per year. You need not to spend so much it will come in a short time last I am now getting more Halloween but I just mix them in but my kids like to steal them to take home with them LoL. This year it has been so hot we are mostly Praying for rain!

I feel the same way about the color of the mums. I much prefer the fall colors. I use real pumpkins and gourds for decorating. Where I live in Virginia it’s pretty cool in the fall. Our pumpkins last all fall. After fall my chickens get the pumpkins. I definitely have a sweet tooth! I LOVE hot apple cider! I look so forward to it in the fall.

Hello! Fall is so close, yay! What a neat place to shop! 🎃 I'm not sure if those red flowers were wool flowers. 😊 Loved those Cinderella pumpkins. Yes, my pastor always brings me a couple of dried up corn stalks from their family farm area to put on my porch brick pillars. 😊 And my daughter and I always look forward to going to a local farm pumpkin patch and corn maze every fall. 🧡 It gets cool at night here which I love to sleep w windows up, but getting hot during the day still unfortunately.
