I really wish more characters were designed like this. Since season 3, with the exception of Yellow Shig and post-buff Twice, everyone they have added has a complicated upgrade path. And it's great.
Strike Deku, Rapid Bakugo, AFO leveling up their skills in different ways has their merits and it's all viable. No one trick ponies. But then you have current Twice and Toga wear it's the same stuff every time. The debate one whether to upgrade Gamma is one you and most other youtubers have had and i like that this character makes ppl think about stuff like that.
Now we just gotta hope they don't mess him up by over tuning him or something.

They probably will I like the early gamma damage but at same time that lvl9 gamma helps keep players off of you and allows for better movement etc.
Dude I think it’s great if they just leave him the way he is. Those that are dedicated enough will figure out their style of play . Also it mess with the enemies because they don’t know if you have Beta max first or alpha or Gamma so they have to be careful with how they approach you.
I hope hawks is the same way. I like Strike Dabi but I don’t love him just yet . It’s fine you know every character not for everybody!

At the moment it’s too early to figure out where he sits in a meta. IMO he’s strong but not free. If that makes sense. So I’m gonna try to play him a lot to see counters and weaknesses and what not .Even day 1 i realized you can counter a lot of people that have armored moves or aren’t usually used to dodging like Froppy and especially Kiri . (Poor guy) So Dabi mains if you ever wanted vengeance on him well now is your time😂

@@axpekt_ that is true since technical really just needs to use his fireballs and play around his traps since strike best move is to go close but strike definitely can take on other characters a lot easier than technical
