Sure don't make music like this anymore. Country is rap and pop anymore. Exile will always be one of the best country bands. Thanks for taking down memory lane.
Chorus* Won't ya give me just one more chance Maybe we could make a lil romance No reason why you and me can't get it back together Like it used to be Gimme Gimme Gimme just another try If I can't have you I'm gonna die Give me one more chance give me one more chance Do you remember how it used to be When we had a love so true You were my confidant You were my closest friend Someone that I could always turn to Then I played the fool let you slip right through my hands Ooh I let you get away Now I've come runnin back Hopin you will let me back in your heart someday Chorus* I'm so alone here without your touch and It seems like a lifetime to me Oh darlin can't you see right now I know How wrong one man can be Chorus(2x)*
I agree. Paul Martin is so talented. He left the Marty Stuart show in 2014 to focus on his family band. The original name of his family band was the "Martin Family Circus" and they just recently (two or three months ago) changed the name to "Rockland Road"
The long haired co singer of Kiss You All Over, Jimmy Stokley, left the band before 1980. Unfortunately, he passed away just shy of his 42nd birthday in 1985 of liver failure. Jimmy was the founder of Exile and the lead singer and front man for many years. Started out as Jimmy and the Exiles, then The Exiles, then Exile.
Just seen these boys in Ashland Kentucky you all still awesome July 4th 2023
I'm going to see them in October 2023. They've still got it!

Chorus*
Won't ya give me just one more chance
Maybe we could make a lil romance
No reason why you and me can't get it back together
Like it used to be
Gimme Gimme Gimme just another try
If I can't have you I'm gonna die
Give me one more chance give me one more chance
Do you remember how it used to be
When we had a love so true
You were my confidant
You were my closest friend
Someone that I could always turn to
Then I played the fool let you slip right through my hands
Ooh I let you get away Now I've come runnin back
Hopin you will let me back in your heart someday
Chorus*
I'm so alone here without your touch and
It seems like a lifetime to me
Oh darlin can't you see right now I know
How wrong one man can be
Chorus(2x)*
