They looked the same in appearance. I'm glad because I just got the original and I won't be getting the larger size no room for it in my kitchen plus too heavy to lug around. Tfs
I'm so glad I found you again. My husband and I actually bought the Ninja Foodie Smart XL because I had seen this video. I have been wanting to make chicken wings from the freezer. Long story - but the Foodie is preheating. Can't wait to cook them. Thank you.
I just found your channel today and love it. I’m from ny myself and travel due to being military you remind me of home and family. Keep hustling mama and do your thang. You deff have a new fan
Just made these and they were _incredible_! Wrote out the recipe for myself. Figured I'd share it here. 1. preheat air fryer to 375 @ 30min 2. once heated, add frozen wings in a single layer 3. cook 12 minutes 4. after 12 minutes, open fryer, drizzle with oil (canola) and sprinkle with seasoned salt to taste. toss. 5. cook another 12 minutes 6. after 12 minutes, open fryer, and spread bbq sauce of choice with a pastry brush. toss. 7. cook 3 more minutes. check doneness. (be careful here - bbq sauce can burn) 8. when brown, remove wings (will likely still be a couple min left on air fryer timer) 9. finish with additional bbq sauce (using brush) if desired
Thank you for this video! I had no idea how to start with my frozen wings and my new Ninja Foodi Grill XL and the packaging on the wings does not say anything and they turned out amazing!! 🤤😋☺️
We don't have the Ninja products, but we really love and appreciate the recipes and ideas you share--so great to do these in any air fryer! Thank you so much. 💜
You're my go-to lady for Ninja products! I'm in the market for a ninja foodi grill. There's just 2 of us. Is the new smart grill really worth the extra money in your opinion! Thanks for your great videos 🙏
I just purchased the Ninja Foodi Smart XL. I ordered it and am waiting for it to arrive. I ordered that particular unit for the temperature probe and the "extra" size....but now I'm getting buyers remorse thinking that perhaps I should have gone with the original Pro with a temperature probe. After watching several videos, it's mentioned a couple of times that the heating element on the Original Pro seems to be larger, which browns and crisps things a little better (along with having more room to cook things that are thicker/has more height to them). My question to you: do you think if you were to turn on the Broiler feature for just a minute or two at the end of the cooking time in the Smart XL...that it would give that little extra browning to the food that you're seeing with the original? Or do you think it would cause the food to over cook more than what you would desire? (hope my question made sense)
I made your wing recipe last night for dinner. Your seasoned salt blend is amazing. What was really awesome is my hubby is not a chicken wing fan but he really liked these and wants them again. Whoa!! That's a huge compliment to you and your recipe. Thank you.
Great video review on the Ninja products, have watched 3 of your videos and it looks like the Ninja Foodi XL would be an ideal item in my hunting camp.
Love your TH-cam battles I've watched them all and you have sold me because of space I'm getting the original Ninja Foodi🤩!! Thank you your show's are very, very helpful 🤩👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you for doing this video, I have the original like you are showing and have been wondering if its worth updating/upgrading. You answered some of my questions, but still haven't made up my mind. It does appear that there isn't a whole lot of difference in size,
Thank you for a very informative video. I just got my Ninja Foodi a few days ago and watched quite a few TH-cam Videos to learn how to use it. Your video was easy to follow! I plan on making chicken wings and french fries for dinner.
New to the the Ninja Foodi and new to your channel. Everything you make looks delicious. Having problem with smoke..what type of oil do you use? Finally read instructions and it says olive oil isn't recommended. This is the only type of oil I use, so not sure what to replace with that will keep my food flavorful. Any tips would be appreciated. Much thx and God bless.
I currently don’t have a Ninja Foodi Grill. However I am looking to invest in one. It will be on a moveable cart in the kitchen. Would you recommend one over the other? Any particular reason?
Shoushana Bridges Hi! If I may give a suggestion... Personally, I don’t have the revenue to buy every knew machine that come out in a row... I managed to put aside $300. but I needed a new Pressure Cooker...a Slow Cooker & really wanted the luxury of a air fryer... $300. wasn’t going to cover my needs! Then last Spring, by some Miracle, she reviewed the Ninja Foodi / Pressure Cooker - Crisper... Truly, it was everything I wished for in *ONE* appliance... I recommend you click on her Avatar to see her full Playlist.. There you’ll find that review on the Ninja Foodi / Pressure Cooker - Crisper & see for yourself how Versatile that Multi Function machine really is... Me, I know I got my money’s worth... You name it.. that machine does it!! Don’t settle for either of those clunky machines that only have one function!! Go for the Papa of them all... Furthermore, it costs less than either one of those here... Go figure! 🤷♀️
They look amazing! I’m thinking about buying a Foodi grill but can’t decide which one to get. Have you baked in them yet? Can you put a pan in them and fry hamburger and add casserole ingredients to it? BTW I just found your channel and subscribed. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. I loved your pizza bread one you did in the Ninja Foodi Grills. Thank you.
HI! I have not tried a side by side baking comparison in the Ninja Foodi Grills yet. That's a great idea, I'll post one soon. Thanks for the suggestion and thank you for watching
Great video! I'm a new subscriber. I discovered your channel searching for Ninja air fryers. You do such a good job reviewing products, they will definitely help me decide between models. You make me sooo hungry. 🍗🍗🍗 I love your kitchen too! 💜
Wish I would have found your channel before ordering the xl model. But I hope I can make it work as good as the original with a little more cooking time and temp. Great videos love your channel!
Hi Rodney! The XL model works well and is great if your focus is indoor grilling for a larger group. The Original Ninja Foodi Grill is my personal preference because I am more likely to use it as a large capacity air fryer. I think you will be able to work with it, its not a bad product at all. Please post an update after you've used it for a while. Thanks so much for watching!

I’m starting to get the notion that all I’m seeing is that all these machines are good for is *CHICKEN & RIBS!!* Yeah! I’ve seen your recipe for salmon... very nice! These machines are too expensive for their *LIMITED USE* ... I’m going to go for the Ninja-Foodi / Pressure Cooker -Crisper... I loved your review on its Multi-Function Versatility ... At least, with that one, I’ll be getting my money’s worth!! I love your reviews...but I’m so done with all these Fryers that are coming out one after the other... But what I would really appreciate is *YOUR* Recipes for the Ninja Foodi / Pressure Cooker with or without the Crisper... You love food...therefore you must be a great cook 👩🏽🍳 ... I’m too busy with little kids 24 / 7... I don’t have time to experiment... Please show us your recipes! 🙏
@@sweetsavant Have you cooked the wings naked and then tossed with sauce after..? Would that work? Also, is basting in the pan itself really messy to clean up?
The XL is only slightly bigger, but the basket is more shallow and the fan/heat coil seem to be the same size for both. The XL is also heavier for not much extra.
Thanks for the video! My son got me looking lol. Of course he thinks that the device is just made for wings! If I come in here one mo time and he and his buddies are eating wings, SMH

made these last night and came out great like this way instead of using breading i always have some type of problem when i do it that way
Can you please do a video on how to clean both ninja. Thanks.

In the new ninja smart grill you didn’t spray them twice with the oil like you did that on the other ninja.. I believe that’s why color was different
