Taking FOUR Huskies to Mackinac Island

- Today we are taking four huskies to Mackinac Island! That's right! Mackinac Island is a very dog friendly destination! The dogs get to ride on a ferry to get over to the island. We normally ride the Shepler's ferry to get to the island. This is Eleanor and Thor's first time on Mackinac Island! Mackinac Island, Michigan is a really unique place! There are no cars allowed on the island (minus a few emergency vehicles). Everyone travels around on bike, or by horse and carriage! You have to take a 20 minute ride on a ferry to get there!

I love that Elle always looked back at her Mum, for reassurance and encouragement and for teaching 💕 what's new and good and fun. The baby Diva, Eleanor, is really just a Mama's girl.

Super excursion! Love seeing your part of the country. Memphis on her hind legs at the ferry railing was so adorable. Eleanor just charges right in and is so gung ho. Darling Kira being held by Jamie is such a daddy’s girl! The look on her face was one of pure contentment. Love these girls so much. 🌊⛴🐎🐎🥪🧇⛴💚💗🧡
I love all your Huskies and would give them all a big hug and scratches. Eleanor would get the most because they are puppies only once.
Halfway up those step even I got tired.😄 The views were so pretty and the butterfly house, that was very cool. And Kira on dad's shoulder at the end was so sweet. Can't wait for the next trip.🐾❤

All the lilacs 😍😍😍😍. Eleanor did good the first trip. Kira sniffing on the boat is the best. Thor was doing a proud walk and it's great. Memphis is always adorable. Tired puppy are happy puppies. The rock was major big. Skull cavern is interesting, I picture water flowing threw.

Those butterflies are beautiful! I might need to take a trip to my local butterfly house. And the dogs looked like they had a really good time! I hope your legs are all okay after all those stairs though, that seems tiring.

It almost seemed like when she was hiding in the bathroom, it was because she didn’t want Thor to see her have her big fit. She was much less dramatic and didn’t even throw pillows. LoL. This girl is so self aware.

Mhen my dog was a puppy she went nuts every time she saw a horse on TV, and I thought it might become a problem when she met onE IRL. It was no problem, once she saw how big they are she went completely quiet, she even quit barking at them on TV

This was a great video ... I love it when you share the Mackinac Island trips. Having Charles and Thor along was a bonus. Those 4 huskies make a beautiful pack ... and so well-behaved on the trip!

I could I could NEVER go into a butterfly house! I know they are harmless and just pretty little things but all bugs and insects creeeeeeeep me out!

All that walking looked so exhausting. I love lilacs. Haven't seen any in Georgia in many decades but I remember the smell. I think it is too hot here for them. I ordered some of that fudge last winter. So yummy. What a beautiful place.

Brings back memories. Been ther4 about 3 times. The part enjoyable part of my northwest Michigan experience lol. The first time I went my co workers made me walk everywhere and climb stairs and I felt just like you did 🤣

The puppers are giving a tour for people around the globe of a local area. So funny. Eleanor’s reaction to the horses is hysterically funny. Wow, it’s natsukashi (nostalgic in Japanese) to see Mackinac (spelling) since when I was a little kid my aunt Terry and uncle John took me there. Even more impressive to see it and the culture of old 1800s living being in Japan now . The carriage house, so spectacular but I expected the puppets might hop on and take off with one. The butterfly house! Wow! The old style candy! All of it! So much…that even the huskies got worn out. Can huskies get worn out?! That means there was so much to do! Fun day out with huskies and family! How cool!
