So apprently Low Power mode turns off or disables the ability to change the Background refresh setting, I shall be using that way less often now, I have a feeling it didnt work because I dont think everyone in my house uses a Phone and has the same problem

I used to face the same problem. Then I just checked whatsapp from device settings in iOS and noticed local network was off. Turned it on and problem got solved. (Reconnecting issue)

My Iphone 7 Plus started acting out yesterday.
It all started with Whatsapp
Today started doing it aswell with Facetime
I have done everything in the video, I have rebooted/restored/reseted the phone, the network settings, etc.
Still not able to perform any calls except from the mobile line.
If someone has a fix please share it with me
I have exhausted all my options

Reinstalled your what’s app or closed all what’s app sync data like contacts photos etc and then restart your fon n sync all data of what’s app then call someone what’s app asks u to allow local network allows local network then it will b workin
My problem was related to the WiFi firewall settings. It’s working now. But for most people, enabling the local network setting should do it
For me that’s not the problem the problem is when I call it makes a beeping sound and hangs up by itself
