    Quick question Mike, what are the differences between using a fill layer with height and a paint layer with normal when adding surface details? I only tend to use Height information on my works and then export everything as a Normal Map.

      Nothing I can think of off the top of my head, other than you can paint with a normal map if you happen to have normal map brushes and not height info...although I personally find height adjustments to be a little more flexible than normal adjustments
