This came out looking good. And having 2 antennas to choose from like that is great. Weird observation: I recently did an experiment (& video) where a took a 'silver rod' style CB antenna and used it as the first 18 feet of an End Fed half wave (with a length of wire continuing from the top as a sloper). I ended up ripping out the internal coil meant for 11 meter, and replaced it with an external 49:1 unun. ANNNYWAY, the observation is this: The hardware for the 'silver rod' antenna and this Moonraker appear identical, right down to the 'jubilee' clamps and sparse instructions. I am betting Moonraker takes the same base model and replaces the internal CB coil with something like a 9:1 unun. Just a a guess, but if that IS what they do, they certainty do it WAY neater and more professionally than I did :D Anyway, you ALSO put your whole set up way neater and more professionally, proving once again that I am a hack. But I like that you covered how much effort goes into mounting something like that by yourself. But also that is IS possible, and that it is even possible to do it neatly if you are patient. Thanks for sharing this!

I am going to offer one suggestion. Walmart, and many auto stores have those magnetic trays where you can put/pour those screws so they don't "hide" from me.
One mount to the house into the concrete just below the siding, and 1 very short mount (pipe strap) to the flat side of the roof. Less fuss and mess all the mounts in between to the vinyl siding are useless and a pain in the ass. Have had masts mounted like that for 30 plus years.

What was the swr like on each band please ?
10 metes was 1:3 every other band was over 4:1 or higher. Thanks for watching. 73s
Im not sure what it is? We had a contractor. The size is 24x30. 2 1/2 car. I would suggest the bigger the better. Hope that helps.

Antenna installs with wide eave overhangs is tough I have a 14'' overhang... Tough KC3ZDW 73

Bottom of your pole should go into the ground 2ft to stop the wind from twisting the pole off the side of the house, 2 is not enough!
