Yes, it did well over 3000. That was my first Barstow Vegas race. Yeah I’m older than hell now but I remember that I finished 904th. I feel good about that nowadays the Barstow Race is more like a poker run… just my thought
We had some battles throughout the race. At one point I passed him on the second Loop and crashed immediately. He was nice enough to see if I was all right.
Wow that look challenging! You did Aeroflot your first Race! I hope I can drag my buddy who is a Baja expert to come do one with me! I hope to see you out sometime soon!
I camped right next to you lol great video and good to see you out with a club Jeff a prospect for dirt diggers is a race friend of mine always awesome to hear about more people coming to the desert
Faster you go the less bumps you hit but if you get it really wrong your done.....the pros just float over all those g outs.....and they stay out of main lines......definetly a certain skillset to read and move thru dez at good clip. Grew up with desert racers but gravitated to mx Perfect conditions for you though and racing is bit nerve racking....takes some gusto to line up and follow thru....good for you man!
Sad to see so few racers out in the desert. Remember races with a thousand riders back in the 70s. The 73 Barstow to Vegas had over 3000.

Nice Job! Looks fun!
Cool Footage... looks like a nice day out.
Great job, good finish. Especially for your first race. Great to see you out there.
I'm hoping you got some footage of the second Loop.
I was stoked to see you and all the dirt diggers out there. I had so much fun . Thank you very much
@@rtillerypowersports got a lot of the second loop. A lot of it is GoPro looking at the handle bars though. Good times. I’m still sore.
The dirt looks like hero dirt. Nice vid!
Hey Scott. What's up- Patrick from Bazzaz. Great vid! Looks like fun!
What ?! Rad , hope you’re doing great !
That guy at 28:00 was totally holding you up…I was getting frustrated just watching it😂the dirt looked prime out there! Glad you had fun🤘

Nice to see everyone stop and help out the down rider👏👍 cool video!
Can’t wait for my first race! See out there soon!

The California desert is a lot different from Vegas and Utah. Great race though. And a nice camera view
And very different from Arizona. Nevada is like the Arizona Sonoran desert and the California high Mojave desert had a kid.

Your suspension a lil soft for desert?....looked like you blowing thru the stroke easily
You are 100% . I usually ride at 10mph in the mountains.
Change your front gear for SPEED..... big speed, my bike in the 70s would do 85MPH and 5 inches of travel; hang on it's super thrilling.
