You know, the jump counter not counting capture jumps as jumps annoyed me at first, but the jump counter counting talking to NPC's as a jump balances it out in a weird way lol

its not jumping. its using the laws of gravity and your force to lift matter up off of the surface into the air where you are then considered "floating" for a matter of a few seconds depending on how high the surface was or if you jumped off something tall like a trash can or an object, then after your mass has been transported up into the air gravity occurs and you get pushed down back to the surface it could be swift or slow depending on your weight but you will fall down because of gravity by the way i just made this up

Gravity is constantly pulling on you which is why you slow down in the first place. 2) the rate at which you fall isn’t determined on whether you’re heavy or light. Weight isn’t anything but a measure on how hard the earth is pulling you. MASS matters, but even IT doesn’t change how fast you fall. Everything falls at 9.8 meters per second per second. The only reason why a feather takes longer is because there’s air in the way and the feather has a harder time pushing the air out of the way than a bowling ball.

its using the laws of gravity and your force to lift matter up off of the surface into the air where you are then considered "floating" for a matter of a few seconds depending on how high the surface was or if you jumped off something tall like a trash can or an object, then after your mass has been transported up into the air gravity occurs and you get pushed down back to the surface it could be swift or slow depending on your weight but you will fall down because of gravity

1) gravity doesn’t “start” it’s always there. It doesn’t just “turn on” when you’re done going up. Gravity is constantly pulling on you which is why you slow down in the first place.
2) the rate at which you fall isn’t determined on whether you’re heavy or light. Weight isn’t anything but a measure on how hard the earth is pulling you. MASS matters, but even IT doesn’t change how fast you fall. Everything falls at 9.8 meters per second per second. The only reason why a feather takes longer is because there’s air in the way and the feather has a harder time pushing the air out of the way than a bowling ball.
