- Well I was in Nashville for our first baby shower for the twins and had a little time to kill so you know me, LET'S GO FISHING! I swung in the Hendersonville, TN Academy Sports and Outdoors with a budget in mind to see if I could catch a fish or two. My goal was 100$ or less and I spent 80. Fishing is affordable and fun! Come along as we walk some small creeks in search of just ONE fish! Thanks for the support!

Some of creeks around here in northeast Alabama have redeye bass. Was cool seeing you buy the gear under 100$ and go catch stuff in a city creek
I’ve done this many times out on the job and be working next to a nice lake or river. Hit k mart at lunch 30 bucks and be fishing in no time. Can’t beat a rooster tail anywhere

Man, you were damn near in my backyard in Station Camp Creek! You can pull some decent size out of the other end close to where it feeds into Old Hickory Lake. It was good seeing the local spot get some love!

I haven’t been fishing in a long time. My dad used to take me and my brothers when we were younger. Fun fact-one time my brother attempted to cast but instead got the fishing hook in my back! I don’t remember because I was too young. I’m sure you’ll have fun stories (hopefully less painful) with the twins! My brothers are twins..born two minutes apart, and they are nine years older than me! I’m so so happy for y’all. I’ve been a fan since Duck Dynasty!
Crawsdad rattlers do great in Tennessee creeks I grew up on white oak creek just 1.5 west of there

I was raised on the Rocky Comfort Creek and the Ogeechee River in the small town of Louisville GA and I will say that fishing those when I was young probably taught me as much about fishin as Bill Dance (The GOAT) did on Sat mornings!! Really enjoyed seeing you fish our Tennessee streams. No-till farming has helped bass populations make a comeback in our small waterways. More good stream fishing south of Nashville. Really, any direction you want to head. You'll find some trout in the colder water below a couple of our dams. As my grandfather used to say, "Come back when you can stay longer!"
Why does no till farming help the bass population?
@@PatrioticParabellum9x19 Farming that involves tilling the soil leads to erosion. The topsoil that washes into streams destroys the habitat that bass need to bed, lay eggs and reproduce. No-till farming avoids excessive erosion.

Awesome vIdeo Justin. Believe it or not, back when we still got a migration in middle Tennessee, we killed a lot of ducks out on the big lake where both those creeks emptied in. I'm talking 80's and 90's here but a lot of fun urban duck hunting. A lot of divers along with any big duck you can think of including blacks.

I have a lake near me I like named Stockton. (South West Missouri) I don't seem to have any luck there. Both boat and bank fishing. Could you make a video and give beginners like me pointers of what to look for in the the water or along the bank? Certain habitats? Any help would be awesome!
