Strawberry Fields Forever // Tanaka Farms, Irvine, CA

I’m reminded of the Beatles song, “Strawberry Fields Forever”. Today we’re going strawberry picking at Tanaka Farms in Irvine, CA. We made it to the tail end of the strawberry season, so we were able pick some fresh off the vines. We opted for the U-Pick Wagon ride, so we were also able to pick an additional vegetable that was available, which today was shishito peppers. The farms offers lots of produce and has their own farmers market. I think I ate more strawberries than picked, but glad to have had this experience.
