- Reverie, by American organist and composer Clarence Dickinson, is a short piece for organ in the key of D-flat Major. As indicated by the title, the piece is to be played slowly and in a lilting syncopated rhythm. The dedicatee of the piece is the renowned architect J. Cleaveland Cady, who was very old and on Death’s doorstep at the time of publication.

I might be related to the Dickinson clan, although they're dying, but they made a huge impact not only the US but with the world itself.
The Dickinson family is a legendary clan.
Listening to this piece felt like someone saying goodbye to a loved one. However, although the parting is sad and that loved one is sad and crying in silence, the one who says goodbye, even tough they're also sad, they console the loved one and they try to be optimistic and joyful. I dunno if they're gonna to see their loved one again. There is uncertainty. However, the farrwell happens. They and the loved one say goodbye to each other and they leave and the loved one is left alone, the loved one does not know when they will return but the loved one is now alone.
P.S.: Sorry if this is a non-sequitur, but... Why are you a fan and an enthusiast of classical music?
