Oh, wow. I will mull over your take on isolation and being stuck. I often isolate to focus, I'm doing it now. I don't like being distracted, my phone is often on DND all day etc. and I've been doing it for years.
HOWEVER, I've been noticing a shift since last year, where my health improves when I socialize (with the right person ofc). Still, I've made zero effort to reach out to anyone to make it a regular thing because I do not wish to be distracted from my work, but I've been stuck with work since last year.
Maybe there's something to this for me now, and socializing will actually positively help my work move forward 🤔

It’s hard to socialise when your ex has tried to destroy you and you’ve become a hermit for the five years. I find it quite scary to go out. My confidence is coming back but when you’ve been through so much trauma It’s not really that easy. It’s hard to trust people as well when someone made you lose your mind just for the fun of it.. it’s safer at home only people I trust is my dogs and my son
