    Hello, thanks for sharing. Please is it possible to create multiple template for the same work item or is just one template for each work item?

      You can create as many templates as you want :-)

    Hoping you still check your comments :P
    What do i do if I create a template like you did in section "How to create a new Item Template"
    and can see in the project setting that it exists, but still can't see it when I go the same route as you did 1:30?
    Seems to me like there is a permission of some sorts i'm missing to be able to view that template and i'm hoping you could help me solve that :)

      The best approach here is to create your one DevOps Organisation to test things out... You can also ask your DevOps Admin if they can see it to confirm that it's a permission issue.

    Hello
    Thanks for the video, I learned to create templates, how do I delete a template? Can I also edit the template?

    • @danikahil
      @danikahil  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can. Here is how to do it: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/boards/backlogs/work-item-template?view=azure-devops&tabs=browser#manage-work-item-templates

    Is there a way to have a feature template with associated User Story templates?

      Unfortunately I don't think so.

    Is it possible to be forced using a template when making a new task? So I click on the + and then a pop up shows with all the templates I made and I have to choose one?

    • @danikahil
      @danikahil  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I don't think so.

    Is there a way to share the template i created in this way with the other uses in the project ?

    • @danikahil
      @danikahil  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think that the templates are visible to all members of a project.

    How can you remove/delete templates no longer needed? Not the work item but, the templates from the template tab.

    • @danikahil
      @danikahil  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think there is an add on for that. I will take a look and let you know.

    Can you actually make so that specific template selection happens by default. Rather then selecting it every time?
    I tried to set default values for fields, but they allow only flat line test, so you can't do any formatting.
