The movie doesn't depict the horrific torture that he went through. I've seen the story on various platforms and this one brought tears to my eyes and heart felt. His mother was very courageous in making her decisions especially on opening the casket.
Emmett Till’s brutal Lynching is most pivotal moment for Civil Rights as it is was quit literally took Civil rights into the main stream. Rosa Parks was quoted saying after her notorious Bus sitting, “I knew I couldn’t turn back then I was thinking of Emmett Till.” MLK was quoted saying, “I was thinking of the screams and horrors of Emmett Till.” It took America 122yrs for a bill to pass to make Lynching a federal crime. The 2 murderers and accuser would go on to live free. His mother might be the only reason why we have civil rights today and it is so sad to think that ONLY one person could make that happen. EMMETT TILL IS CIVIL RIGHTS

The one on Hulu, which is the one that was on abc, to me had better acting. Seems strange that they’d put it out in October when this is the week it actually happened.

Yea we watched that one as well and it was very good and as you said the acting was on point
