thanks for the feedback, I notice a few things: 1. the software I use does its hardest to mimic to original singer, so when I pitch the AI cover by +12, it sounds very high and stretched 2. using weights to make the AI cover without extracting lead vocals works most of the time but with some noticeable drawbacks 3. I should extract lead vocals & instrumental 1st, then use weights for lead vocals, then go on Audacity for editing & mixing 4. (Alternately) I find a suitable cover of the song for AI conversion and try it out.
