Now 28, writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology,/ Composition, all his degrees were received with honors, back to back with the exception of the Singer competition and he returned immediately , while simultaneously maintaining his successful performing career.! If you look closely, you’ll see he had a visibly inflamed area in his throat, but he still managed to sing beautifully here - on a very brief round trip from China to Paris in the middle of the gruelling ‘Singer 2017’ competition. His father later said that, at one point, he had made 78 flights in 42 days - so it’s no wonder he was exhausted and prone to infections ...
