Bought 3 rolls of square wire, all copper, because that is what I can afford at the moment ♥️ Using the copper to practice until I get better at wire working ♥️ I know you don't use copper and I get that ❤ I think I have 75% of the tools that you have ❤ collecting everything slowly but surely ♥️ Your work is absolutely amazing ❤ I love your tutorials ❤ So very inspiring to me ❤ I am almost through all your videos ♥️ Thank you for all your inspiration ♥️ BIG HUGS from Roswell, New Mexico ♥️
Hey Skeeter, I like to use red brass or jewelers bronze wire also known as nu gold, or vikings gold, great wire and you can polish it up and look like 14k, comes in all shapes, from round, square, half round, and twisted, great stuff.
Great description of tools necessary for accomplishing jewelry designs. Wish you were here years ago. Nice to know it isn’t necessary to spend a fortune to just have some fun. Can’t wait to see more advice from you.
I started learning wire wrap jewelry though Newell Barnett's Universal Wirecraft tapes, many years ago. I would re-watch each tape until I understood the whole sequence before I cut a piece of wire. Do you have DVDs for purchase? I really appreciate the detail and explanation you go through, and I'm about ready to do a few more pieces, now, even at 80!
Goodness, lots of good information. I do have a question! Where in the heck are you buying your wire? The prices you quoted are tripled now (one year later). Pretty much the same with pliers.
Thank you. I like to work with gold-filled metals because it do not tarnish. I am just a beginner and best price I found $75 for ounce dead soft round 20 GA wire. Can you please tell where you buy the wire.
Fabulous job..love everything you been teach us.♥️♥️♥️
