DJ NOVA8383 Mother Clara Hale Depot has 72 Orion buses with an even amount of OGs and NGs. When the OGs retire, they will get 20 New Flyer XDE40s and more NGs.
I like Next Gens too, they feel like airplanes. I dont know why people complain about them, and the only reason why they’re hated so much is because the bigger enthusiasts who hate them have a following who essentially try to fit in.
Grand Aveune Depot have 2015 New Flyer XD40, used to have 2017 New Flyer XD60s (moved to Tuskegee Airmen Depot) for M shuttle bus to Myrtle Av Bway, 2017 Proterra BE40 and 2018 New Flyer XDE40. Grand Aveune Depot used to have 1998 RTS Nova buses (4969-4997) but they were retired since this year. Even tho Grand Aveune Depot used to have 1998 Orion V bus. One of Grand Aveune Depot bus was Orion VII OG Hybrid #6626 was transfer to Fresh Pond Depot. My favorite bus routes from Grand Aveune Depot are B60,24, 62, 13 and Q59. Well, Grand Aveune Depot is the one depot that I like. However I remembered that I rode the B13 bus to Brooklyn where my cousin live. B13 was using 1998 RTS Nova #4969. One of GA depot have RTS Nova but it say MTA Bus. It means that RTS Nova bus came from Eastchester Depot cause back of RTS Nova bus is BLACK.
As of January 12th, 2019, the B13 was moved to Fresh Pond Depot. Anyone know why? In addition, as of January 2018, the southern portion of the M5 is now the M55. Still wish it was the M6.
@@02skinnygar That was from a few years ago. The Q58 was supposed to be converted, but operators out of the Grand Avenue Depot (which opened in 2008), did not like the operation of the Q58 there, so it was moved back to its original location at Fresh Pond Depot.
Brayan Lucero B13, B48, B57, and B60 all went to Fresh Pond. In exchange, the high-performing B38 (the runs based in Fresh Pond) and Q58 routes went to Grand Avenue.
JeremiahC99 Also, the B48 is my home route surprisingly along with the B49, in the section where both routes run parallel to each other on Franklin and Bedford avenues.
I personally love the NGs. One of the greatest buses in my opinion.
West Farms is Strictly CNG with some Diesel. They have no Next Gen Hybrid. I think your referring to the CNG old Gens.

Also, the M5 was split for reliability issues.
