St. Francis receiving core looking bad. A lot of impact play missed due to dropped passes. The qb delivery is perfect!
And they really need work on the center/QB exchange because the QB was picking up way too many snaps off the field.

Also MD produces Heismans ...which any player can acheive after high school. Moreover ,MD goes to other states and wins by 5 TDs where they barely beat Corona centennial (public high school) . Didn't they smoke a top GA school last season? Also the most recent Heisman is from Cajon, a public California school in San Bernardino, CA. Teams from other states don't do so well when the come to California. It doesn't matter whether it's against our public or private schools. Just facts.

I know all schools recruit but private schools have a distinct advantage in that regard, especially St. Frances because the state of Maryland isn't exactly loaded. If SFA relied on Maryland talent, they wouldn't be elite. Buford's QB is from Arizona but it was his very first game. The Buford defense was the story of the day.

Mater Dei tries to schedule every top team every yr. Cant control what week their open dates fall on. Plus there's travel and other costs. They try every year to get the Texas teams like North Shore, Southlake Carroll but they wont schedule them. Texas will not come to Cali, Cali has to come to them. I dont understand it, they have the money. Look at the stadiums. Nothing like that in Ca. They will make their way to Georgia, they're trying to now. Started in 2009 I believe. Won a couple C Conference championships. Biff Poggi brought his staff and his money over from Gilman and they did the same stuff the other schools were doing for years, recruit. the A Conference schools punked out didn't want to play them. So they been playing a national schedule every year since 2018. Gilman, McDonogh, MSJ, Loyola all refused to play St. Frances. Only school will to play them was Archbishop Spalding
