    Kurt is a great example of if you want to change you can absolutely do it.

      Yes absolutely he is. He’s turned into a great role model for the younger generation. What that crazy Driscoll nut bag alone did to him was a enormous ordeal to overcome and he did it with class I don’t know if I could of done it I would of wanted to hide my face if someone was publicly making up lies like that about me.

      @@sergeantmasson3669 well that’s about the best thing I’ve heard all damn week. Thank you for that info. I was not aware of that. I guess Karma does hit people like that sometimes and not just good people. Kurt never deserved that she pulled that cause he left her and she was pissed she losses her meal ticket. Thanks again

    Kurt Busch is amazingly savvy. His understanding of what a racecar needs, what a team needs, and what he needs in the car has always been impressive. Yes he went through some MAJOR growing pains but his sense of awareness from a racing standpoint was never a question. Whether it was that Star Racing Late Model Team, his time in the 78 car and their alliance with RCR, or even his time at Stewart-Haas, he made all of those teams better. Stewart-Haas was never the same after he left and I don’t think that’s coincidental. It’s really cool to see where he’s at in his career and the role he has taken on; smart move by Hamlin and Jordan to pick him up for the startup of their second car. I can’t wait to see him in the booth in a few years to offer his analytical commentary. Until then, hope to see him compete for many more wins!

    • @joshuawilliams7141
      @joshuawilliams7141 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I he’s very savvy. To win with that team really says a lot. I know Bubba lucked into a win at Dega but I mean let’s be real this is that teams real first victory we’re car driver and crew put a complete race together

    • @misterslideways
      @misterslideways 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, no doubt @Joshua Williams. No knock against Bubba’s win…. Somebody had to win the the rain shortened race but I do agree with all you said about everything coming together on this win of Kurt’s.

    Darlington 2003 I think was the best race I've ever seen. This guy may rough you up some but he doesn't dump you on purpose.. If I was a racer I'd love to race this guy. Hope he wins the championship this year.

    The Buffalo question was just stupid and have no idea why that was brought up. Congratulations Kurt. Hated this guy in his early years and truly love him these days. Went through so much had to over come so much and just happy to see him get a win. Well deserved and hope he finishes the rest of the year string.

      What do you expect from npr? They have to try to bring non racing issues to try to damper his win.

      @@OldsmobileCutlass1969Va I guess your right I was just totally baffled by that question it threw me for a loop and you could tell Kurt felt awful that he didn’t know about it but, handled it like the class act he’s turned into over the past few years. I just thought it was totally unnecessary to ask a question like that. It was flat out stupidly and I just wished he had asked Tony Stewart that question. Can you imagine the response Tony would of given that idiot.

    I used to like nascar in the 90s so it's good to see Kurt win. Idk half of these drivers these days. Good to see him win.

    I’m a Larson fan but a Kurt fan to. No trickery Kurt just had a faster car in the end and as many times Larson hit the wall today to be second is a miracle in it self. Awesome race today larsons still the man no other driver could do what he did today. Period! Even to finish 2nd

      Are you freaking serious? That’s a joke right. It’s gotta be. Sorry I actually thought you were serious. Bubba is about a quarter of the driver Kurt is period and anyone that thinks Bubba got Kurt to Victory Lane is either totally ignorant or knows jack. Bubba might help a tiny bit but, to think he got Kurt to Victory lane well like I said to think that you’d either have to be ignorant or not know jack about the sport. Appreciate good sarcasm tho so I’ll give it a LMFAO for ya cause it’s kinda funny

    Wish his brother had the common sense to look at what Kurt was back in the day and what he is today and at least make an attempt to change his attitude. Kurt has done an amazing job fixing himself and kyle may soon see the repercussions of all these years of being a doush bag when it comes to putting a sponsor on his car next year with mars leaving. I have never denied the fact that he is probably the most talented driver to strap into a race car in the last 20 years but his attitude and temper tantrum’s also make him the worst. I thought having braxten would settle him down and make him think about the example he is setting not just for him but a lot of kids but nope.

      Kyle has gotten much better the last couple of years... the problem with kyle was the same with Kurt... you can change but it takes time to see the changes... especially in this sport. Kyle will be fine.

    I’ve watched Kurt Busch go from a absolute douche back in the day, to a guy who just brings wins to a team even if they have such crap equipment. Kurt is proof these drivers just don’t have the drive. They don’t make a 25th place car and make it finish top ten they just will accept it, the drive to keep taking the next guy I think some of them just quit focusing and focus on just finishing wrong attitude to have eventually. Kurt, this is awesome and I’m all Hendrick, but you won it fair and congrats this was a happy one
